During an appearance on CNN’s Piers Morgan, GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul was asked whether as a man with daughters and granddaughters, Rep. Paul (R-TX) thinks that abortion is warranted if a woman has been impregnated by a rapist.
“If it’s an honest rape,” Paul replied, “that individual should go immediately to the emergency room, I would give them a shot of estrogen.” He claimed, however, that if a woman is “seven months pregnant” and says that she was raped, “It’s a little bit of a different story.” Source

For starters, ban the “morning after pill” and other drugs that can cause abortions.

Welcome to the new FR. You can’t be pro-life unless you are for Federalizing an infanticide ban with no exceptions under any circumstances.
Personally, I disagree with a rape exception but in the grand schema, I’d jump at that in exchange for a ban of all other circumstances. I’d also jump at the opportunity to vacate Roe V Wade and let the states decide. I.e. the situation as it was the day before Roe V Wade. Why? Because it would save lives NOW rather than some ill defined day in the fuzzy future when we might kinda sorta get 100% of what we want.
But I guess that means I’m somehow “soft” on banning infanticide.
So, if Ron Paul deemed that an allegationis credible, he would perform an abortion??? Wow! Then, Ron Paul is not pro-life.
The woman has already been victimized once. You advocate victimizing her again? Do you know that the vast majority of women who become pregnant from an act of rape either don’t want to abort the baby, or have deep regrets if they had an abortion?
To answer your question, a dead baby is much worse.
Now, a question for you. Why do you feel an innocent unborn baby conceived in an act of rape is not worth defending? Why do you feel that they have so little worth? How is it that the U.S. Supreme Court rules that a man cannot be put to death for the crime of rape, yet you have no problem with the innocent child conceived in such an act having his/her life snuffed out?

Unless, of course, you happen to had the misfortune of being conceived in an act of rape. Then, he’d administer the shot of estrogen, that may result in aborting a newly conceived life if the ovum is fertilized by the sperm. You can’t do this, and claim to be pro-life. He’s not pro-life. To the extent you allow exceptions, you aren’t pro-life.
So you are okay with judging another human being?

The baby is innocent. Whether I am an idiot or not, the baby is still innocent and does not deserve death because of this situation. Sorry you feel the death sentence for the innocent is ok.

Yes, in many . . . ?most? situations . . . satan would be more delighted with our taking things in our own hands and using weapons to fight him.
That’s at least partly because that risks taking part in HIS ANGER, HIS VENGEANCE instead of trusting God with the vengeance as God insists . . . and instead of confidently waging the MORE POWERFUL SPIRITUAL WARFARE.

I advocate allowing the rape victim to not be forced into pregnancy. If she makes that choice on her own, that is great and wonderful.
Others would not allow the rape victim that choice and would enslave/imprison her for 9 to 10 months to ensure that the outcome that they prefer, takes place.
Now some might say, “If it’s outlawed with no exceptions then she can’t.” to which I say “really?” Isn’t rape illegal? I’m sure glad that stopped happening!/s
