I’ve never been a Santorum fan and I’ve grown to like him less. He didn’t do very well tonight and we need him to beat Romney in Michigan. I hope he can do it. And I hope Santorum doesn’t land in a mess during his one hour interview with Beck tomorrow.

I have been pushing Gingrich hard these last couple of weeks with my engineer friends that really don’t pay attention. I hope everybody can help in some way. I pushed his energy speech to three different areas today that I hope can get folks on board.

Please tell me A: where you got this insane notion; B: examples of video showing the supposed supreme skill of Obama as a debater with no teleprompter - which he will not have debating anyone later this year.

I’m not trying to be a smart-asz here, I really want to know. I have seen this over and over in debate and other threads and it is just a result of ‘the telephone game’. One person said it and now it’s canon law.

Bull. Obama cannot debate a grasshopper with any more skill than he shows at any other off-teleprompter event...which is none.

I was unable to watch the debate, but I’ve perused some of the comments. It’s discouraging to read people who sound every bit as smarmy as the Obots. Hardly a sober pro-Newt comment in the crowd.
Newsflash: Newt will never overcome Romney at this juncture, and if it’s not Rick, it WILL be Mitt! Not my fancy, but that’s reality. Rick is our FINAL hope. Bob

I adore Newt but looking back at the highlights, Santorum got off one great retort against Romney saying he balanced his budget. Santorum said "Don't go bragging about something you have to do. Michael Dukakis balanced the budget for 10 years, would that make him a great president?"
