That above headlines that aren't in the news is the reason Trayvon's case is getting SO much time. The wall to wall coverage is better for the democrats than wall to wall coverage of the economy and the Democrat's policy failures.

Think of the many, many ways this "crisis" can be used/exploited. First and foremost, it distracts us from: high gas prices, obamacare at the SC, etc.
They were looking for some current event they could use and chose this story. If that wasn't the case, the coverage would have been accurate from the start instead of creating the narative/crisis.
And, the dribble of new facts coming out about both the case and the coverage slowly changes the story and continue to keep it in the news.
Otherwise, it's unlikely this would have even risen to a nation story. I heard it on a more liberal talk program days before it took off, so it could have been massaged and pumped up for mass appeal/consumption before being injected into our news cycles.
This is such a great teaching opportunity to understand how the progressives manipulate us.
