Israel is equipping German-built submarines with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles

JERUSALEM (JTA) -- Israel is equipping submarines built in Germany with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles, according to an in-depth report in Der Spiegel magazine.
The magazine also reported Sunday that the German government has known about Israel's nuclear weapons program for decades, despite its official denials.
Last month, Israel received its fourth Dolphin–class submarine from Germany, which is slated to become operational in 2013.

Not much is known about Israeli nuclear weapons. The Israelis wanted to buy Tomahawks from the USA in 2000 but Clinton refused. I think they are now using a variant of the Popeye Turbo missile. Range of 1,500 km. More than enough to hit anywhere in Iran.

400 plus warheads in 2000, with some tech that no one else has (reportedly). Likely to be 600 to 800 today. Popeye & Jericho can place the things wherever they need to go.

Yes, I don’t think this is news.
AFAIK what is kind of news (at least in the eyes of Der Spiegel) is that they now can prove that the German government has known for quite some time while at the same time publicly stating the opposite. The missiles not so much, that has been an open secret for years.
