nobama whines about being outspent [another amusing email from nobama]
email | June 26, 2012 | nobama hissself [right!]

Friend --

I will be the first president in modern history to be outspent in his re-election campaign, if things continue as they have so far.

I'm not just talking about the super PACs and anonymous outside groups -- I'm talking about the Romney campaign itself. Those outside groups just add even more to the underlying problem.

The Romney campaign raises more than we do, and the math isn't hard to understand: Through the primaries, we raised almost three-quarters of our money from donors giving less than $1,000, while Mitt Romney's campaign raised more than three-quarters of its money from individuals giving $1,000 or more.

And, again, that's not including the massive outside spending by super PACs and front groups funneling up to an additional billion dollars into ads trashing me, you, and everything we believe in.

We can be outspent and still win -- but we can't be outspent 10 to 1 and still win.

More than 2.2 million Americans have already chipped in for us, and I'm so grateful for it. As we face this week's fundraising deadline, please donate $3 or more today.

Every donation you make today automatically enters you to join Michelle and me for one of the last grassroots dinners of this campaign -- today is your last chance to get your name in.

These dinners represent how we do things differently. My opponent spent this past weekend at a secretive retreat for the biggest donors to both his campaign and the super PACs that support him.

I've got other responsibilities I'm attending to.

Donate today to stand for our kind of politics:

Thank you,

Barack

IMO, the fact that Romney is, in reality, out raising Bozo, the polls that show how “popular” Bozo still is are flat out lies. If he had a chance in he** of being re-elected he would be raising money at the same pace he did back in 2008.

Incumbents and democrats don’t need to raise as much money. They have free advertisement from the mainstream news and the democrats have already bought and paid for their votes in the form of welfare and government unions.

Republican challengers need at least 2 to 1 spending ratio to keep it even.

I was among the privileged few to be greatly honored this morning to receive the same personal e-mail from President Obama inviting me to contribute a little bit of money (no food stamps, however) to his campaign.

The thought of a free, all expense paid dinner with President Obama and his charming first lady really impresses me; it would be cheap at any price. Besides, it could free him from future fund raising efforts with the rich and famous to attend to critical matters of state, such as getting around obstructionists at the Supreme Court and in the Congress. Give till it hurts.

You missed my point, my point was not that he wouldn’t have a lot of money, my point is that he is NOT raising money, therefore he does not have a lot of supporters left. If the MSM was making a difference for him he would be raising money at the same rate he did in the last election. He is not doing so, ergo he is going to lose the election for lack of voters, not money.

Why doesn’t Obama just come out with an EXECUTIVE ORDER that says that none of his opponents can spend as much, or more, than he does, for re-election ???

And he will be the first pResident in the history of the country to go to prison for crimes committed in office, if there is any justice besides Just Us.

Did he turn back on the “verify” option when receiving credit card donations? Like if 1000 $5 donations come in on the same card? That would hurt fundraising.

Hunh? What happened to all these claims of Bammie having a “Billion Dollar War Chest?” Or was that all bluster? Or is Mitt actually outspending that?

I think if you add up what the taxpayers paid for his trips around the US over the past 3 yrs campaigning, he outspent his opponent
