Posting the address of TruBlueRinos.com for those FReepers who can no longer stomach FR

Posted on 07/10/2012 2:39:24 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Received yet another FReepmail message regarding the underground campaign to get disgruntled freepers to move on over to the latest anti-freeper site.

I'll save them the trouble of having their moles to do their underhanded dirty work underground.

If you're totally fed up with me and my absolute refusal to support the GOP-e's outright plunge into supporting the progressive/statist agenda and no longer wish to resist tyranny, please by all means go join the RINO squishes over on TrueBlueRINOS.com ( actual address: http://www.trueblueliberty.com ).

But when you join them, please do us all favor and don't come back. It'll save us all a bunch of grief.

Thanks for the memories. It was fun working with you when we all agreed on our pro-God, pro-Life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-liberty causes.

By the way, those caught continuing their underground campaigns against FR will be zot on sight.

Like this guy:

From Pasadena2k | 07/10/2012 1:22:46 PM PDT new

try a site at which it’s OK to discuss alternatives to Obama at least for a short period during this presidential elction season.

Many of us ( over 550 in the last two months ) spend some of our time at trueblueliberty.com

-------------------------------------------------------

Goodbye, Pasadena, we hardly knew ye.

No one appreciates moles. Filthy animals.

You're kidding, right?

You made accusations against me and offered to post examples to back up your charges.

I suggested you go ahead and try to do so.

You did not because you could not.

Now you are trying to bluff your way out of the hole you dug yourself into.

No sale.

I thought that the 2008 election was hideous. Little did I know.

Those who vociferously campaign against Romney on this site (and there are a number of such folks) want him to lose and are deliberately trying to help bring this about. If Romney loses Obama wins. Thus campaigning against Romney on this site supports Obama. It is a matter of simple logic.

But you seem to start from a false premise: That Romney is capable of winning. I would assert that like with McCain't, he doesn't stand a chance in hell to start with. And like all the fervor surrounding Palin, all the fervor now won't make a damn bit of difference... You really can put lipstick on a pig, but that doesn't mean we are gonna vote for him.

It seems that the Christian Right is to blame for McCain'ts failure - They didn't turn out for him, in spite of Palin. Perhaps one should wonder why the Christian Right could not be moved, and apply that scenario to this one - Because this is going to be the same thing repeated again.

And if the TEA parties work to elect this candidate, it is their doom - Because they will be striving to elect the very thing they were brought into existence to fight against.

You will not get these folks to turn out and hold their noses. You will not get the Christians to vote for abortion and gay marriage. You will not get civil libertarians to vote for big government and gun control. You will not get capitalist conservatives to vote for Keynesian math.

Get this, Yam: Your insistence stifles what could otherwise happen: This site, preeminent on all the web, could (almost by itself) lift a conservative candidate. The Christians would have someone to vote *FOR*. The civil-libertarians would have someone to vote *FOR*. The military and capitalist Conservatives would have someone to vote *FOR*. THEN they will fight. THEN they will strive. Then you will see the base fired up.

And even if they ultimately miss electing a president, there would be happy solace in the fact that we all stood for what we do believe in, and didn't have to hold our noses... and turnout would be more likely to bring us a conservative House , and a Conservative Senate, which is where the battle really is anyhow.

This site, at it's core is *for* Conservative activism. That is what we *DO*. It is when all the pragmatist nippleheads are shouted down that the banner is unfurled. It is when we are doing the right thing (and the Right thing) that this site has power. And when she hits her stride she is a force to be reckoned with. That is when we can sound the clarion call, and make no mistake, *that* is our job.

And that shout-out gets a holler-back from the TEA Parties and the Christian Right (both of whom have their own monstrous networks ready to go), and finally, other conservative media... and off we go.

So it actually IS a matter of simple logic, as you proclaim, but not as you define it - Conservatives are not gonna turn out for what they don't believe in, and trying to co-opt them with mere Republican-ism (voting for the big rhinestone 'R') has never worked, and will not work now.

If you want the Conservatives to turn out in force (and when that happens, it cannot be stopped), you must give them someone to vote *FOR*. They are already pissed and wanting a fight, but they need someone to coalesce behind - The harnessing of the Conservative factions, as it has always been called - and that ain't Romney. It is predictable.

So maybe this will give you a peek at what those of us whom you impugn are driven by. Why I fight vociferously against Romney is because he is false, doomed to fail from the start... And it takes all the air away from those who really could advance our cause, and actually do have a chance at waking up the sleeping giant. Reagan's great gift to Conservatives was to show us what we can do when we work together - And how that works (the only way it works) is when no one has to take a back seat... Where everyone's immovable 'first things' (principles, for those of you in Rio Linda) are honored and upheld.

Romney cannot ... And I do mean CANNOT... be that guy. So let's get busy and find someone who can.

You're gullible fool if you think Romney is going to...put judges on SCOTUS that will overturn Roe

And what does Judge Robert Bork have to say about this?

Yes, what the RINOs learned in '08 is that they need to be even FURTHER to the left.
That they claim to be solid conservatives [except maybe for the homo marriage thing, and we don't really need those pesky guns, right? -Rino] is ridiculous! And, they have their fan boys all over the place.

He doesn't care as long as Romney is giving him a check.

I thought that the 2008 election was hideous. Little did I know.

At least in 2008 we didn't have folks here on FR actively campaigning against the GOP nominee and doing so using unreasonable, dishonest, and abusive means.

That was certainly better.

********************************

Those who would vote for Romney are not interested in discussion. They merely want to shove him down our throats. Any attempt to explain why he is an unacceptable candidate is met with personal insults. Is that your idea of "discussion"?

McCain wasn’t who we wanted.
We wanted a conservative, not a Rino.
But, we held our nose and supported him.
And for WHAT exactly?
To get knifed in the back.
By the GOP.
This sparked off the beginnings of the TEA party.
[Which stands for Taxed Enough Already by the way.]
That all started.. why, here on FR pretty much.

So here we are, four years later, with yet another RINO candiddate, only this guy holds the same positions that Obama does on guns, homo marriage, and individual mandates.
And you expect what to happen?

I don't understand comments like yours. Politics is practically all that is discussed here at any given time. It's just that discussing a Romney vote is a tough row to hoe on this site, and for good reason. I think what you long for, is a presidential candidate that all conservatives and republicans can get behind, and we all do, but conservatives weren't given that.

And what will you do under a Romney administration when he does the exact same things Obama would?
Doesn’t matter what Romney says, his record is that of a solid liberal.
Congratulations GOP and RNC, you have a candidate who is exactly like his opponent.
