Uggg....

I have thought of myself as being politically savvy, for a long time, and have not wanted to believe the “conspiracy theories,” but.....looks like I need to open my eyes more....against the will of the flesh telling me not worry....

"There will be matching federal funds."

This is what the environmental lobby in Washington manages to do with our tax money - they have their lackies in congress and the EPA use it to bribe cohorts and the naive.

If Rick Snyder is one of them, he should go. If he is just being fooled without knowing what he's playing into ...he should go. The staples of "Gang Green" are sold through soft sounding projects that will appeal to everyone: "Who doesn't want clean water, clean air and greenbelt bike paths?"

Ask again: "Who wants to give up freedom to look at special landscapes they can't touch?"

During the 1992 election, Clinton made the statement that he didn't believe anyone but the govt should own any type of natural resource or mineral on property.

Individuals should only be allowed to own the surface of the property.

He also made the comment that if you raise crops on your property people should be allowed to enter your property and “Glean” the fields.

I fully expect the dems to push for the seizing of the oil and gas under peoples land as a first step in achieving their goal of seizing all natural resources or mineral for the govt.

If you look at the individual projects, you’ll see that the bulk of the money seems to be going to city parks and bike paths etc. Its an interesting use of natural resources “trust fund” money.

Wonder about the number new mini-Walmart grocery stores opening and are located very near these mixed use projects.

So far, the local mixed use deals have all been financial wrecks. The authors really nailed this folly.

Bike paths and non-motorized trails are part of the 'walkable cities' movement. Kayak access and preserves are showing up a lot because it helps them classify the waters as navigable.

Part of Agenda 21 is to classify all waters as navigable so they can control them with recreation and fish management. Any thing they can't classify that way becomes wetlands. The rest of the earth is classified as pervious surfaces that infiltrate all free water and add it to government owned water which is everything subsurface.

Democrats Against Agenda 21 is the clever brainchild of Rosa Koire and others who have realized that a good way to make real headway against the movement is to present it as a republican plot.

I'm actually OK with state and federal wilderness areas but think we have plenty and certainly don't need more. The fact is that there is a huge amount of privately held wilderness in America.

I went for a ride yesterday and took some photos from the road. This is private land and not exactly in danger from urban sprawl. These photos were taken here along the I-94 corridor. (the most heavily populated part of Michigan) The state and feds have enough land.

Karl Marx would approve of UN Agenda 21.

The Ten Planks of Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto
(and How Statists Implement Them)

  1. Abolition of private property rights (via high property taxes, restrictive zoning laws, "fair housing" edicts, environmental and "wetlands" regulations, and UN Agenda 21)

  2. Institution of a heavily graduated income tax (by calling it "taxing the rich")

  3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance (through a confiscatory estate tax on "the rich")

  4. Confiscation of the property of enemies of the state (through lawless application of asset forfeiture and eminent domain)

  5. Centralization of credit into the hands of the state (Federal Reserve, Federal Trade Commission, TARP, etc.)

  6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation into the hands of the state (FCC, DOT, FEMA, etc.).

  7. Consolidation and subjugation of all major industries to central government control (EPA, OSHA, ICC, NLRB, EEOC, etc.)

  8. Mandatory labor union membership (public-sector unions, automatic withholding of forced union dues, "card check," etc.)

  9. Equitable redistribution of all wealth (TANF, SSI, EITC, SNAP, etc.)

  10. Free public education (and food and health care and cell phones and Internet access, etc.)

Locally I’m going to vote for those who strongly support personal property rights regardless of party. Those party labels don’t mean a lot at the local level.

In my case we currently have a whole family of green “republicans” running the show in the township. I’d rather vote for the democrat real estate developer that I don’t personally care for but has been a strong supporter of private property rights in the area.

I don't feel the need to be wary about Rosa and her organization. They are telling the truth regardless of who gets exposure in the process. I've met Rosa and Michael Shaw (shown int the Agenda 21 for Dummies video) they are speaking form the heart because they have both been on the other side. That is what makes them so feared by the other side "Gang Green'.

The short of it is that when you really dig deep into this stuff you will find out that in almost every case the environmental movement doesn't have the best interests of the environment in mind. What they do is use the environment to further their goals of social justice.

As Rush Limbaugh would say, "Don't doubt me on this." (I've been at it since the 90's and I know how much work we have to do if we believe in maintaining freedom).

If you want to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread which can be found here:

NEW ACTION THREAD:

Post 128 of the Action Thread is a summary of the history of Agenda 21, “what they are doing”, “what to do about it” and a good bibliography for further reading.
