It is rather ironic that in their daily lives and activities, they are in the 7th or 8th century. However, in their weaponry and related items, they are as up to date as many armies. They don't mind using cell phones, computers, and other modern instruments -- to make war.

That is exactly why they need be relegated to the 8th century. It isn't a difficult problem to solve. 1) destroy their electricity sources. 2) destroy their weapons. Number 1 takes care of a lot ... Cell phones, computers, communications, Internet, and even a safe water supply requires electricity. A nice accident blamed on Iran, say an EMP blast, is a very effective way to eliminate electricity. After that we can rely on Muslims to fight each other. Self genocide is a deserved punishment for evil.
