The Sure Cure for Voter Fraud
American Thinker ^ | September 27, 2012 | Bruce Walker

Posted on 09/27/2012 4:36:33 PM PDT by neverdem

Conservatives are rightly concerned that the left wins close elections by fraud. The photo identification laws which Republican legislatures have passed are a sensible reform to make the theft of votes harder, but judges whose partisan allegiance and ideological tendencies are transparent invent reasons not to enforce those laws.

The left already buys votes by the tens of millions using our tax dollars to elect toadies who will oppose our economic interests and moral beliefs. The left creates a vast superstructure of taxpayer-funded public schools, libraries, and colleges to brainwash young minds into becoming robots of leftism. The left does not need or want to buy or coerce individual voters; it does not even think of Americans as individuals.

So why does the left still need to steal votes? The left needs voter fraud because at its core, the corrupt, vain, and dumb left is just that weak. What can we do, though, if judges step in and stop laws intended to stop voter fraud from being enforced?

There is one sure cure, which sounds draconian and maybe even weird, but which is simple, clear, fair and pure. We ought to revise our election laws so that Americans vote in elections the way that we used to do when all four presidents on Mount Rushmore were elected president: we ought to restore the public ballot.

The way it should happen is that when we cast a ballot in an election, we do it in the open, with a photo taken and mailing address recorded at the time our vote is cast. The secret ballot was an Australian, not an American, creation, and the rationale was that this way, employers and landlords could not punish those who voted against the interests of the rich. It has not worked, and it no...

Here is WA state, 100% of voting is by mail! Fraud galore I am sure. This state is infested with liberals anyways and it will stay democratic so long as no ID is required to vote. Actually more than just ID should be required to vote....like proof of US citizenship.

My favorite case to use when debating people that say vote fraud never happens:

http://dailycaller.com/2011/07/29/mississippi-naacp-leader-sent-to-prison-for-10-counts-of-voter-fraud/

(snip)

In a story ignored by the national media, in April a Tunica County, Miss., jury convicted NAACP official Lessadolla Sowers on 10 counts of fraudulently casting absentee ballots. Sowers is identified on an NAACP website as a member of the Tunica County NAACP Executive Committee.

Sowers received a five-year prison term for each of the 10 counts, but Circuit Court Judge Charles Webster permitted Sowers to serve those terms concurrently, according to the Tunica Times, the only media outlet to cover the sentencing.

“This crime cuts against the fabric of our free society,” Judge Webster said.

Sowers was found guilty of voting in the names of Carrie Collins, Walter Howard, Sheena Shelton, Alberta Pickett, Draper Cotton and Eddie Davis. She was also convicted of voting in the names of four dead persons: James L. Young, Dora Price, Dorothy Harris, and David Ross.

In the trial, forensic scientist Bo Scales testified that Sowers’s DNA was found on the inner seals of five envelopes containing absentee ballots.

Californians have been getting their elections ripped off for decades by leftists. There have even been elections where %100 turnouts were recorded in inner city democrat precincts. Only voter fraud can account for %100 percent turnout, it’s just not possible any other way.

Too bad, he deserved 50 years. Thanks for the link.

I’d like to be able to register my cell phone and vote with it.

Then I would like to receive a text message that I voted and a code so that I can verify, online, that my vote wasn’t changed.

This way people that work can take a few minutes off and vote without having to leave work early.

There would be no need for absentee voting.

On the plus side, the left leaning schools are churning out kids who are too stupid to find the voting precinct.

Lessadolla?
I realize that some african americans give their kids names that do not make sense, names they make up at the drop of a hat, names that have never been used in the history of the universe, etc, etc.

But less a dolla? Thats whacked. Poor kids may have a tough enough life hand dealt to them without mom doubling down on your misery.

You had the same reaction that I did over “Lessadolla”. That one just about takes the cake when it comes to names.

MRS CW3 and I are required to show up at an official military(navy is nearest)office to renew her ID card (mine is a lifetime card) every now and then when we get there the clerk says “Chief put your right index finger on the tab”, 5 to 10 seconds later “OK Chief you’re good.”(This system has checked that I am a retired military officer and have dependents eligible for retirement benefits) We need to do this system for all voters. It would only take seconds to prove eligibility.

We can end this now if we apply the same fraudulent identification requirements to paying our income taxes. If being identified to vote is an imposition, identifying me come income tax time should be just as difficult.

A much simpler “sure cure for voter fraud” is the one used by our friends in Iraq.

A bottle of purple ink, next to the ballot box.

I recently met a boy named Demonie. I had to look twice to see if I read his name card correctly! Just changing the last letter of his name would make it “Demonic”! How could a parent name their kid THAT??? Guess who he was sitting by??? Angel!

A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches. That is in the Proverbs of the Bible.

PS Also, I wanted to make that comment about the strange name I saw but did not mean to change the topic of this post to be about strange names because the topic of the post is so important.

By the way, what the hell kind of mother names her baby girl "Lessadolla"? "Less a dollar", get it? That's just depraved.

It's better than Shih-thay-edd (that's the phonetic spelling - figure it out).

Slightly off topic, but can’t resist...

I would like to see two voluntary check off boxes on all state and federal tax returns.

(1) What is your political party?

(2) Who did you vote for in the last presidential election?

Once and for all we could end the debate on who pays for government in America.

Real taxpayers would gleefully lunge at the chance to identify their Party.

Earned Income Tax Credit recipients and Zero Dollar taxpayers would shriek with rage...and leave their boxes blank.

The MSM would try to manipulate the data by using the returns of high income Socialists like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet.

But establishing aggregate numbers and medians would give us a very clear picture of which Party pays, and which Party does not.
