let me get this straight okay...we’re doing this recount of a specific area and if West gets enough votes to close the gap within a certain percentage, then he can request a FREE automatic recount of the whole district?....

Help put the pressure on Tea Party reps in congress to nominate Allen West as Speaker of the House.

*The speaker does not have to be an elected member of the house.
*The majority “can” control the vote for speaker, but that doesn’t mean the speaker is guaranteed to be a republican.
If the TP caucus would stick together on this they could force the RINOs to support West or chance giving the seat back to Pelosi.
* It’s time to stand up!

So, when will the stray trunks and boxes of totally dhimmi votes show up?

Anyone keeping a video log of the place?

Not finished yet? Does this mean Gertrude has to spend more time in the hospital?

Hasn’t the popular Boehner already been reelected as Speaker?

All RINOs would prefer Pelosi to West.

A Pleasure!

There’s something strange about this. They had completed all 8 days of the early vote ballots, over 20,000!.

They had spent the last two hours counting the 306 uncounted ballots that showed up mysteriously in Gertrude Walker’s office. That’s all they had left to do! I don’t get it. On Election Night they were there until well past midnight. What was the rush tonight to shut the place down and stop the count?

I thought Bonehead had already been re-elected, as well :( Only one guy - Rep Louis Gohmert (R-TX) - had the guts to nominate someone else. He nominated Newt and NONE of the sniveling cowards had the guts to 2nd it.

LTC West won in 2 counties out of 3 in district 18. He could win the election without winning St. Lucie County 2 with enough votes from there.

I don’t think you can elect the Speaker until the new house is seated, in January. We are in the Lame Duck session. The old House, pre-election is still seated.

“What was the rush tonight to shut the place down and stop the count?”

Nothing good comes to mind.

The vote counters probably were over worked and needed a break. If they are gov’t workers, they are not used to working hard or long. Ask me, I was one for 1/3 of my working years.

RE: Hasn’t the popular Boehner already been reelected as Speaker?

Not at all. Nominations are in progress and the vote for speaker of the new congress doesn't happen until the new congress is sworn in.

Time to regroup, and in the middle of the night, stuff another previously unfound box of votes stored in back of the mens toilet at the Stuckeys truck stop!

There is no request, it’s mandated by statute. A difference of .5% or less triggers a mandatory district-wide recount.

Pretty sure they are write-in ballots. They are handled differently.
