So much for the Boston Police' public speculation that Dzhokar Tsarneav may have shot himself in the neck in a suicide attempt -- and their claim the gunfire battle occuring at the boat was two-way.
Officials now say Dzhokar was unarmed when he was captured. No gun was found on or around the boat.
Two U.S. officials say Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the surviving suspect, was unarmed when police captured him hiding inside a boat in a neighborhood back yard.
Authorities originally said they had exchanged gunfire with Dzhokhar for more than one hour Friday evening before they were able to subdue him.
Interesting that instead of this being the headline, CBS has a headline referring to a speculative claim by police in the article that Tamerlan may have financed the venture with marijuana sales. No support for is given other than Tamerlan was unemployed.
According to his wife, he was the stay at home dad while she worked 60 to 80 hours a week. That's hardly evidence of drug dealing.

Question: Have police identfied this guy yet? The one they arrested and made strip naked, and then paraded in front of the media cameras as they put him in a patrol car, and then let go because he wasn't involved?
It's not the carjack victim because he's Chinese and escaped at the gas station in Cambridge while Tamerlan was pumping gas and Dzhokhar was buying Red Bull before the brothers took the car to Watertown.

I don’t really care whether he was armed or not. I have no simpathy for the Joke-ar. But that doesn’t negate the very real possibility that the cops just opened fire and the only “gunfight” was a bunch of scared, amped up idiots blasting away in a circle.
I don’t totally buy all aspects of the official story about the Boston explosions. Here’s what I think the reality may be ...
The older brother conspired with some sort of double agent(s) tasked to uncover networks in the Chechen diaspora as they might relate back to Russia. Somehow AQ operatives found out about this and double-crossed the shadowers, gave the older brother real working explosives which he set off.
The younger brother may not have been in on the plot, and he may not have laid down a bomb. The second bomb might have been placed by the AQ operatives who then melted away. The Saudi national who was deported may be involved, either as a Saudi government intel officer, or as a double agent.
The younger brother may have realized what had happened during the day following the explosions when their pictures began to appear. He may have decided not to turn in his brother, or perhaps was coerced into going along. He was therefore partly held hostage when the events of Thursday night began. He was in way over his head but reacting on instinct, managed to escape and was wounded in the exchange of fire.
A further wrinkle may be that authorities had some idea where he was, but wanted him as dead as his brother so that no messy trials or investigations would become necessary.
So they decided to wait a day or two, knowing he had crawled into the back yard boat (tracking dogs may have indicated this). The federals would have been more inclined to achieve this clean end result than the local cops. But the homeowner did the unexpected and checked the boat, at which point they had to move in.
Now they are stuck with the guy and his potentially damaging story. The mother is probably wrong about the older son but could be right about the younger one.
There are other doubts on a deeper level which are bound to emerge as alternate theories of the Boston events. We should adopt the Reagan doctrine of trust but verify, except perhaps more like distrust and verify.
I’ve even heard ideas about this being a staged false flag with actors and staged events. Not too keen on that level of conspiracy, more like a bungled intel operation previous to the event combined with an unsuspected link of the older brother to actual bad guys as well as to the case managers.
This may even have something to do with Obama’s mysterious indebtedness to the governments of certain foreign countries already mentioned above. What do you think?
Pretty elaborate theory, but I can certainly believe there was a sting gone wrong or too early. The FBI tracked him before he went for 6 months of likely terrorist training and didn’t do anything when he came back?? If so, gross incompetence. Or maybe they thought they could control him. As for the younger brother it looks to me like he was mostly along for the ride.

Here’s what I think, or a version of this since we are speculating.
Guy they deported was involved, had something to do with it, but was on our side, bad guys didn’t trust him, detonated the explosives with him near it, so they sent him home after his cover was blown.
Probably the bombs were not meant to go off, and I bet anything that Obama is directly involved with trying to catch these guys. Just like FNF, and Benghazi. Arms dealing and trading stings gone wrong. Because Obama is putting his trust in radical Islamists who claim to be spies, but are really double agents.
Also, there is no sane reason why the US would not have checked into these guys after Russian ambassadors WARNED US.
They had to be trying to catch these guys in the act, but something went wrong, somewhere along the line they were able to get real explosives, or realized that the ones they had been given were fakes. Knowing they had a mole, they singled the deported guy out, and his cover was blown. Explains the Saudi diplomat to the US visiting him in the hospital.
Thus, government is going into cover-up mode because they botched ANOTHER STING operation.
Even if I’m wrong, something about this whole thing stinks to high heaven, and we’ll never know the whole truth.
I'm not so certain that that is what was said by the cops, but rather it was interpreted that way by the media........I never once thought Dzhokar tried to commit suicide by shooting himself in the mouth.
The best comment I’ve seen on that goes like this:
“The Tsarnaev brothers were state-supported terrorists. The state was Massachusetts.”
I am amazed that no LEOs or neighbors got shot in the whole Blues Brothers-ending-like event.
The only thing I care about is why they did it. Whether he was armed or not at the time of his capture falls under the topic of “Who the he$$ cares!”

I have no simpathy for him either, but how did the cops know he was the guy they were looking for? Or did they just assume the person in the boat was one of the bombers and opened fire?
They had an unarmed, scared, wounded teenage boy totally surrounded by the top crack paramilitary police. The FBI, DHS, ATF, Local Police, State Troopers and even University Police had their weapons trained on the punk.
Then he just got into a car and drove away and they could not find him...
A CITIZEN found him. Outside of their perimeter.

It also turns out that the story of the bomb strapped to the chest of the older one was also BS.
We have caught the authorities in another string of lies, but that's not a first in this investigation. Listening carefully to yesterday's overly detailed accounts of precision SWAT team tactics, intense firefights and the shameful lockdown of Boston in a virtual state of martial law. It would make any Bolshevik proud; the American people have smelled an enormous rat. It wasn't until still images of a naked man being taken into custody two nights ago were confirmed by this very high quality video that we understood why.
Look at the video. Beyond a reasonable doubt, his jihadi parents and a lucid Uncle all identify this person as Tamerlan.
To ignore the possibility of a conspiracy would be condoning a series of lies. If you watched news reports all last week and observed the behavior of the Police Chief, the FBI and the official spokesperson;it was apparent these folks were not offering candid information to the public. They only spoke to the nation to mislead.
When they finally did ask the public for assistance, they begged the American people to ignore other suspects and only focus on one set of suspicious men. We just discovered that the FBI had files on both men. Obviously, the Regime knew who these people were and the FBI didn't need anyone to finger them. The truth of the matter shows they were desperate to shift the focus away from an army of interlopers the public had identified as para-military operators.
This circus was conducted as a confusing three ring affair. The FBI cancelled press conferences four separate times, because they were forced to respond to everyday American's that were discovering the unsettling truth. Examination of cellphone pictures and published photographs from the internet supported allegations of a far flung conspiracy. The FBI had to adapt and amend their story line to take into account the discovery of several sets of conspirators lurking on, or about the finish line.
The people of this country forced leadership to explain away the presence of several groups of men wearing military fatigues, wearing identical black backpacks and talking into hidden microphones. We soon discovered that the Mass. Army Guard Bomb Disposal Unit was running an 'mock' operation during the Marathon. Of course, now that citizens discovered this exercise, the Regime admitted sheepishly that this expert bomb unit was indeed on the scene. We're supposed to buy their story that these bomb experts were only conducting an exercise with mock explosives. It gets worse.
Mock explosives sound real familiar to anyone following the dozens of FBI sting operations that the Regime has conducted to weed out domestic 'lone wolf' moslem terrorists which, turn out to be radicalized moslems BTW. Reports that phony amputees were also present on the scene to create more horrific carnage have also been confirmed by the professional amputee actors themselves. They're used by the Army to make training exercises appear more realistic. I don't think it would be hard to convince the 30-40 citizen's that actually lost a limb in this 'exercise' that their experience was unrealistic?
The incestuous relationship that exists between the media and our elected officials is nothing short of parasitism. The un-official, off the record tips given to the media were leaked in order to distract the public from continuing the search for the truth behind the bombing. Three times media lapdogs faithfully trotted out the most recent official claim of the bomber's capture.
Film was suddenly shown of police vehicles delivering a 'suspect' to the Boston Courthouse. A press conference was called and the supportive media pimps primed their audiences for an announcement that a 'white male' was in custody. CNN & MSNBC was all fired up in a self righteous lather.
However, it was soon apparent the FBI was caught in a web of lies. They had to clear out the courthouse and hide themselves away from the public and thousands prying eyes. Of course, they turned to their tried and true favorite deploying a 'Weapon of Mass Deception' and utilized the ensuing panic created by a bomb threat to cordon off and remove reporters, photographers and the general public from the courthouse.
The whole Boston charade reached critical mass with the on the record reports of the final manhunt for the Brothers Tsarnaev. Clearly, a healthy Tamerlan was taken into custody. It couldn't be anyone else. He's actually smiling for the cameras, because he thinks he's a hero. His name might soon be cleared by his Boston FBI handlers. Whatever else happened in Watertown, this man was walking upright and was breathing. I also think the American people will demand yet another explanation. Do pigs fly, Mr. President?
yeah...while wounded and being hunted down like a dog, he got rid of the gun ‘cause he didn’t need it anymore.
Afterward, the Police Chief reported that it was a shootout at the boat scene....and he KNEW the kid had no weapons, but that’s not important?
Aside from his admission, which may have been forced, I’d like to see just a shred of evidence proving he was anything other than that. Someone prove it to me or I’ll continue to dig for the evidence to prove otherwise.
It is beyond my understanding that so many people here are eating what THIS government is feeding them. The story is constantly being contradicted, lies told....every single day...not to mention undeclared MARTIAL LAW. I’d really like to understand how ANYONE on FR is believing any of this.
Are people THAT desperate to accuse anyone? Well, that’s clearly what they want you to do.
There’s two possibilities you are perhaps suggesting and I’m not sure which it is.
Is it A.) Joker Tsarnaev was innocent and framed an Obama really planted the bomb and it’s all a big cover up.
Or. B.) some of the original details that came out were misreported, perhaps even to the police chief, but basically the terrorist was caught.
