A Republican congressman says pursuing the impeachment of President Obama for his mishandling of the response to the terror attack at the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, is still an option, and he vows to continue digging at the lies of highest magnitude from the White House.....

Ping me when Lakin is walking him handcuffed out the back door past the garbage.
Thank-you God!
Where is a John Dean when you need one?
Unfortunately this is WND.
He belongs in jail for so many reasons
This would be a really bad idea. Obama could never be convicted in the Senate. Right now, Obama is imploding on multiple fronts. This would take the story off him and refocus it on those nasty Republicans.
Odd course he should be impeached over this....bit there’s zero chance the demholes vote to remove him. I’d bet 6 or 8 R senators wouldn’t vote to remove him anyway. And even in the 1 in a zillion chance they do.....President Biden!!!!!!??
Benghazi will be summarized as a failure and multiple mistakes, the IRS issue is a crime, there is no wiggle room in that.
At least Nixon had enough class to resign.
Second Article of Impeachment against Richard Nixon:
(adopted by House Judiciary Committee on July 27, 1974,
by a vote of 28-10)
He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, endeavored to obtain from the Internal Revenue Service, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, confidential information contained in income tax returns for purposed not authorized by law, and to cause, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be initiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner. against Richard Nixon
I hate to burst everyone’s bubble here but while Impeachment is a non-starter for any number of reasons, it is a dead issue for one reason in particular:
There is no way to get 65 votes in a Senate Impeachment trial. Even if every Republican Senator voted to convict you would still need both independents and 18 Democrat votes, or 20 Democrat votes, and that is simply NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
Clinton rode out his Impeachment trial when the Republicans held the majority in the Senate, left office nearly as popular as when he came in — and everyone knew he was guilty as hell.
They can impeach all they want, but once the case goes to trial in the senate it will be DOA.
Waste of time.
impeachment is just a fancy word for him losing his job
irrelevant
people have died. LOTS of people
there needs to be JAIL TIME for him and his cohorts
You make a good point! Or add up the IRS scandal, Benghazi negligence, Benghazi cover-up, bugging the AP, the failed Operation Fast and Furious and we have a stronger case for impeachment!
It is probably too early right now for impeachment to pass the House of Representatives. I doubt that the Senate would vote to convict the Dear Leader Obamuslim.
You make another good point!
*Then* impeach.
A Few More Days Like This,
Obama’s Going To Claim He Was Born In Kenya,
Just To Get The Heat Off
-— Dennis Miller
Nothing will happen. Nothing! Noise, sure. Plenty to keep the press buzzing and churning the 24 hour cycle, and the Republicans acting like tough guys with principles. But no matter how guilty they are, or appear to be ...
NOTHING will happen to Obama, or Holder, or anyone else of note! No prosecutions, no impeachment, no censures, nothing. Period. I'm sorry ... it just won't happen.
Best to keep him in office, ineffective and unable to pass laws.
Hillary should be the focus of the Pubbies right now.
