The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS or Mormon) has a network of food canning and distribution centers around the nation, where volunteer church members donate time to can food grown on the churchs farms and orchards or purchased from other sources. The purpose of this network of canneries is to provide food to those who have been caught in disasters or just caught short by an ever-declining national economy. Millions of pounds of food are prepared for distribution annually in the LDS canneries.
Recently, we have heard rumblings that the federal government has been paying very close attention to the churchs cannery network and that the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Food and Drug Administration have been imposing increasingly burdensome regulations and requirements on the LDS canneries. Despite the cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art equipment at these clean-room quality facilities, federal agencies have been hitting the LDS church with improvised fines for violations they find during surprise inspections. Reports of an FBI raid at one facility where agents demanded a list of the names of the cannerys patrons was especially troublesome...
...Why is the federal government going after the LDS Church? There are a number of reasons that come to mind. Obamas nemesis in the general election was a prominent member of the LDS Church. Members of the church tend to vote in a conservative block. The LDS Church teaches the worship of God and His Son Jesus Christ, independence, morality, education, and family and traditional valuesall things that are abhorrent to the current administration, which has proven its willingness to abuse its authority to go after those with whom it disagrees (Romney supporters, patriotic groups, conservatives, Christians, etc.).

He wants everyone in the country to be dependent upon his regime for their survival.”
He hates charitable organizations. If that seems sick it’s because it is.
Amen. I disagree with LDS on doctrine, but I’ve often been impressed by their walking the talk. And they’re flat out right when it comes to planning for the bad times. They’re welcome at my campfire anytime.
Frankly I’m a little concerned and disappointed that they didn’t let us know they were being persecuted.
Back in 1998, when I started learning about how to prep, the first search I did was for Mormon preparedness because I knew they were masters at storing. I went through their material to learn what they stored, their list of food items to store, and how they did it.
I am repulsed that Hussein has done this. That so called man, has got to go - impeach this devil as that is what he is in my opinion.
This action against this church’s service of food storage must have you up in arms, Kart. As for me, I am livid.
You can’t beat their prices on 7ml thick mylar bags and oxygen absorbers either. The quality of the bags is top notch.
It was last year sometime that certain canneries had to shutdown due to new regulations. The way I understood it all canneries had to have the ability to can both wet and dry packed items. The cannery in Fresno, for example, had to shutdown - or limit its production to exclude canned goods -even though it never processed anything other than dry packed items.
Just the tip of the iceberg, I fear.
Bravo
Me too, Marcella. I kept running into LDS data when researching food storage, water treatment, or other survival topics.
Their research on how long items last is quite detailed, going back decades and testing stored items for taste, nutrition, etc.
25 years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob HopeNow we have Obama, no cash and no hope...
Probably related to the crack down on natural milk, home gardens and host of other things.
You and I are most certainly on their list.
“LINO”.
Anything that has a hint of the Christ, gets the wrath of those like Obama who have invested themselves deep in Satan. You Mormons are not the only ones affected.
I’m a very outspoken Christian. I live in the latter day so I guess if you wanted to call me a latter day “saint” I would be. However I am just a plain vanilla evangelical. Currently worship at a plain vanilla Southern Baptist church.
The Mormon churches are an acid test case for actual Christian fundamentals as contrasted to doctrines.
Smith’s revelations are mostly a lot of anti-biblical B.S., some of it blatantly racist. The Mormon churches are badly confused. However, the Christ remains the Christ and “everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” The Christ is a person. We can’t capture the Christ by making a net of doctrines and waving it in the air. I ought to know that more than anything because I tried. Won’t work. He has to be called upon by name.
I’d invite believing Mormons to more orthodox evangelical congregations in order to help them clear up their confusion. Maybe some day they will clear up theirs. This Smith stuff is what has got them going unbalanced.
I checked out their page and I agree. I think the shipping is free. The water filters looked like a good price too.
true, what you said,
this growing evil is much worse than many want to allow themselves to perceive,
some are more equal than others,
its surreal honestly, seeing patterns repeat, its as if those in control are ignorant of what went before and what followed as an evil consequence, however I don’t think they (all) are, some want the same result as before, and they want it here,
America is falling into tyranny, complete control with economics first, the rest will come soon after, all that is needed is a (real or imagined) crisis or two to exploit.
Not only did LDS members get low cost, canned food, but non-Mormons could can things there, too. Now you can only buy from them, not save money by doing much of the labor.
Yes that is true too. I did get some of that from them also, as well as a water filter to back up what I already have.
Yes, the shipping was free. I also got some of the mylar bags and O2 absorbers, and a water filter to back up what I already had. All in All, although limited in selection, what they do have is over all pretty good deal.
Mitt Romney was a gift to Obama, not his “nemesis”.
Harry Reid is truly Mormon, a very devout and devoted Mormon, a part of the elite who qualify to enter the Temples and participate in the secret ceremonies, Harry Reid has to renew his ID every year and be vetted every two years to be a part of the highest Mormons.
