He might have gotten everything else wrong, but if he got this one thing right - alone and by itself - then he’s with Jesus right now.

God tells us in Romans (chapter 10) ... “ ... if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Yep, and what was Crouch’s fruit? His multiple heresies - some of which many Protestants adhere to - or his many thousands of devoted friends and followers?

Aren’t both his fruits?

Like I said above, follow the money.

The network, whose headquarters is pictured, is seen on every continent but Antarctica 24 hours a day, seven days a week, raking in $92 million in donations in 2010 and $175 million in tax-free revenue

Sex scandals: The suit also accuses the network, whose headquarters is pictured from the roadside, of using funds to cover up additional sex scandals according to the Los Angeles Times’ review of the suit

Expenditures: Additional claims detail the purchase of two jets at a cost of $50 million and $8 million each, and 13 mansions across the U.S. reported as ‘guest homes’ or ‘church parsonages’

TV religion is a criminal racket in America protected by the laws separating church from state, and by the naive suckers who fall for everything that is backed by the Bible.

I know a lot of good pastors on TV and radio. In fact I was just listening to one of the many I know just today — John MacArthur. And there are others that I watch and/or listen to. I just mention John MacArthur to give a “baseline” for what “I” am talking about.

I don’t know much if anything about these people, so I’ll just say God have mercy on His soul, and I hope he knew Christ. Also, condolences to the wife.

But I just do not, and never will, understand the pink hair.

How do you know he repented of his sins? Or are you now Jesus Christ and the Judge — Perfect Justice?

As Christians we are commanded to discern and judge the teachings of others - otherwise the person who doesn’t will fall for any heresy. So ... “judgement” is necessary.

As far as the “judgement” as to whether one is saved or not — one can listen to the “why” of that person telling about being saved - but in the end “that ultimate judgement” does come down to God who knows whether that person is lying or telling the truth. Since we can’t see inside the heart and know whether that person has truly accepted Christ, we cannot a judge authoritatively on that particular subject.

But we can judge as to whether the “teachings” are correct according to scripture - and we are commanded to do that very thing.

I quoted the “if” statement from God - which means that IF he did so — THEN — according to what God said, he is saved.

It’s an “if/then” statement, in which if you fulfill the first part, then the second part is true.

I’ll leave it up to others to discuss whether he fulfilled that “if/then” statement of God.

And God will KNOW (absolutely and authoritatively) whether he did fulfill that — which is something we don’t know with absolute authority, as we can’t see into the heart as God can.

Gosh, I thought only God knows the hearts of man - remember King David who God called a man after his own heart, yet, he was also involved in murder and adultery. Do you believe he went to heaven - or Abraham’s bosom - as a place where the Old Testament prophets went until the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Yes, the graves opened when Jesus arose from the dead - and many walked the earth with him until they were taken to heaven. Its in the Gospel of Matthew.

I think it best to leave the judgment of this man up to Jesus - I don’t know much about them, so I’m thankful I don’t have a judgmental mind to make assumptions one way or the other.

If it doesn’t fit the Official Catholic Model — the Earthly Heaven Screening Committee — the Shoehorn To Pack Them Into The Box To Glory — to you they’re damned.

We won’t even TRY to convince you otherwise, unless you are willing to budge from that Model to something heretical, like the bible. Which tells of a grace that is larger than all your catechisms can embrace.

I don’t care how much Religion the fellow had. Did he have Faith?
