Seems very odd they haven’t found impact debris yet

Hopefully, enough wreckage can be recovered to determine if the two stolen passports were used by Muslim terrorists who bombed this plane. We need to know that. Fortunately, the US won’t be in charge of the investigation.

Last I heard the aircraft was cruising at 35,000ft when radar contact was lost. If true that is indicitive of something not good.

It would be remarkable if they had found it already. It's a big ocean out there. When the USS Indianapolis was sunk by a Japanese torpedo, the debris in the water were the survivors. They were not spotted for four days.

What are the odd’s of having two phony passports on the same flight. Its got to be terrorism.

Admiral Ngo Van Phat told Reuters the plane may have crashed in Malaysian waters, 153 miles off the coast of Vietnam’s Tho Chu island, according to its speed and last known location.

The admiral denied earlier reports in Vietnamese state media quoting him as saying the plane had actually crashed.

The articles in Breaking News that confirm a crash are incorrect.

“At this time, we can confirm that three U.S. citizens were on board,” said State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki.

Great, we have to get our news from Psaki.

“The articles in Breaking News that confirm a crash are incorrect.”

Is there any scenario that makes sense other than that the plane crashed? I understand that is not confirmed, but is any other outcome even possible at this point?

Yes but I believe they are in the Twilight Zone.

The point is that previous reports cited a specific location for the crash when no such crash site exists. Yes, it’s likely the plane crashed.

There could have been a secret diversion to a hidden location. But that would require the complicity of a country, as well as the installation of blackout electronics in the aircraft beforehand.

Or it got beamed up by ETs.

Otherwise it went down, suddenly and catastrophically, probably from an explosion. The two stolen passports suggest terrorism, IMO.

They don’t know where it went down. The wreckage of Air France 447 that crashed in 2009 wasn’t located until two years later.

Uh, we sort of have new imaging resources these days and the potential area based on radar track is fairly small. Plus the water is relatively shallow. It IS very odd.

Uh, we sort of have new imaging resources these days No sir. Search area larger than you think. Most still done with Mk I eyeball when looking for a few scraps of debris. Have you ever done it?

“In the unlikely event of a water landing….” Well what exactly is a ‘water landing?’ Am I mistaken, or does this sound somewhat similar to crashing into the ocean? “Your seat cushion can be used as a floatation device.” Well, imagine that. My seat cushion! Just what I need — to float around the North Atlantic for several days clinging to a pillow full of beer farts!
