Where do you think the phrase “bold colors” came from?

Dems & RINOS

> gov interference with my health care & my health insurance - Dem-Rino same thing (Romney-care, “repeal & replace”)
> homosexual “marriage” - better not talk about that - ie Dem-Rino same thing
> debt ceiling - Dem-Rino same thing (surrender monkeys)

Then lets talk about

> F&F - Dem-Rino same thing - nothing being done
> IRS - Dem-Rino same thing - nothing being done (sent over to DOJ WHO SAID THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING)
> NSA - Dem-Rino same thing
> Benghazi - Dem-Rino same thing NOTHING
> Gitmo release - nope can’t do anything about that either.

They’ve got 50 million reasons why they can’t do anything. If RINOs can’t do anything why should anyone vote for them?

And let’s not forget Amnesty.

Pastel RINO Boehner is “hell bent” for it. SAME AS THE DEMS.

The Republicans should at least have the guts to loudly proclaim that he cannot be impeached because he is black and he knows it.

It’s sad when politics trumps the rule of law. But in D.C., regardless of party, politics trumps everything.

I won’t rant and rave,I am not naive, all I do is recall a saying that goes something like this,All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing.
Hopefully the American doofuses who elected this America Hater will vote in the midterms to emasculated him,I seriously doubt it though, the democrats know his skin color makes him immune

Waiting it out until Republicans control house and senate is the only smart move.

Citizen asks Ray: You seriously believe RINOs are identical to Democrats—that it makes zero difference which one is in office?

Citizen, for many long years, I thought just like you. Then I woke up and realized how wrong I was. You have yet to wake up.

I hope this clears your confusion, sir.

It wont. The only thing he's clear on is that he is the Great C. Edmund Wright, a lot smarter than you or me, and we should know it and respect it, dammit! {^)

[RINOs] ...were complicit. They did nothing. That’s reality. Romney haz less conservative positions on his record than Obama. Literally. look it up. Mitch declared war on the Tea Party. They are complicit. And as such, no different than a democrat. Every major issue they either sided with dems or caved into them. Thats a fact. Anyone supporting and or wanting more of them is no better than they are.

BUMP to the top. It's time for the "conventional wisdom" (which I subscribed to for decades) that RINOS are better than Democrats, to go out the window. It is a textbook example of "conventional wisdom" being an oxymoron.

Citizen, if counting on RINOs to be better than Democrats actually worked, we'd have turned right by now. It has failed and will continue to fail. HAVE YOU NOTICED? We have been turning left for years and years, and all those years and years, we -- ME included -- have been voting on the premise that RINOs couldn't possibly be more dangerous than Democrats.

Many of us, including me and Norm, have woken up. You are still slumbering.

Excellent FReeper Citizen, though I disagree with you in this point of politics, I hold you in very good regard for a good communicator. It is a real pleasure FReeping with you.

By the same token, don’t blame me if I vote for what I perceive to be the best possible option.

Yes. That is the crux. I voted for Meg Whitman in 2010. She fit the material prototype of "conservative," a button-down-collar business executive persona, along the lines of Romney. She was every bit as leftist and liberal as Romney. But she wasn't Jerry Brown. So I voted for her.

If she had won, she'd have been worse than Schwarzenegger, whom I voted for twice. She was functional pro-government leftist; her only claim to "conservative" was acknowledging that small businesses are in trouble. She promised a more business-like efficient State government. More efficient at taxing and repressing us to enforce the big-government oversight she and Democrats exist to design and operate.

By the same token, don’t blame me ...

Yes, Citizen, I got to thinking about that. If she had won and proceeded to use the Republican party to do what any leftist would do -- if someone came along and RIGHTLY blamed me ... how could I disagree? I know what I'm voting for, I know there's no such thing as voting "against" -- so how could I possibly justify voting FOR a functional agent of everything I want to fight? "Don't blame me" ...?? Bah!!!

In short, I woke up.

You said it: ...the base is not to be treated as mere rubber stamps but rather are the basis for winning elections. I'm tired of moving to moderate candidates and will no longer do it. They need to come to me.

Amen.

“Hey. I don’t like compromise with RINOs, but compromise is better than outright defeat. Do you really think we’d be better off today if every last RINO was replaced with a Democrat? That’s absurd!”

Did I say better? No.
SHOW WHERE WE WOULD SE A DIFFERENCE.

Both want amnesty
Both support gays/tranny rights
Both cover Obama’s ass at all opportunities
Both cover up our international adventuring F’ups
Both got rid of DOMA
Both keep the EPA/BLM/other alphabets regulating and taxing America out of existence
Both keep the education rules as lib as possible dumbing down citizens...

List goes on and on and on.

If you want more of it, YOU are the problem.

What’s really funny about this article is that it assumes that impeachment was ever ON. It never was, it never will be. The gop wing of the uniparty is complicit with the rat wing, one hand washes the other and so it goes.

The relationship between conservatives and the powers that be remind me of a really bad marriage. One where a spouse is addicted to crack, beats the other spouse weekly, leaves for months at a time, and has given the other spouse the clap on a couple of occasions.

You know, a marriage like that is beyond marital counseling sessions. Its not time to talk about what measures are needed for a reconciliation.

It’s time to talk about divorce and the property settlement.

However, this realistic view will be ridiculed by the ignoramuses who will see the Republicans as caving.

Oh gee, how foolish to think our most highest elected politician should not be held to account for all the many laws he has broken. Thinking like yours is what empowers to turds to just keep on breaking our nations laws and sticking it to law abiding Americans. Why bother even having any laws?!
