Chris McDaniel: I was “betrayed” by the GOP establishment
MOFO Politics ^ | 25 Jun 14 | MFP

Chris McDaniel, onthe blatantly unethical and illegal tactics employed by Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour in the Mississippi GOP runoff Tuesday…

“McDaniel: I am a two-term state senator, I have fought for this party my entire life, I’ve given money…I’ve done everything they’ve asked me to do– and last night, they pulled over 35,000 Democrats into a Republican primary to defeat me…we feel betrayed.

Hannity: Do you foresee any circumstance under which you would support this guy? Because I don’t think I could do it.

McDaniel: I prayed about it last night…my core principle is gonna have a hard time even looking at politics again.

Hannity: You sound like you got punched in the gut. You sound like you’ve been betrayed.

McDaniel: Sean, I was…I have fought for these people. These are my colleagues. They are my friends…I don’t understand!

But Ted Cruz has bigger fish to fry… “

“I certainly congratulate my colleague, Thad,” Cruz said on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, pointing out that the Republican establishment poured millions into the Mississippi race and only won by a thin margin. Cruz reminded the hosts that he did not endorse a candidate in the Mississippi primary, as he promised to stay out of incumbent Senate races.

As does Rand… “

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a potential 2016 presidential contender, declined to support tea party critics of Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran’s efforts to mobilize non-GOP voters to win the Republican nomination.

“I’m for more people voting, not less people voting,” Paul told reporters Wednesday.

What, you don’t believe God’s own word?

That murder is the unpardonable sin...

OOPS it isn’t.

Basically... “Sorry, my pride will not brook hearing any truth, even scriptural, from someone who has hurt my pride.”

Reminds me of a cult leader, except I don’t see the charisma...some do though.

Paul certainly presses libertarian philosophy to some unaccustomed, and sometimes impractical, extremes.

An interesting exercise would be to reason with some of Paul’s more extravagant sounding assertions. OK, he thinks it’s so wonderful that Democrats just were invited to punk the Republican primary? Does it work the other way around too, then? How do we know all votes are legitimate? If you are going to try to be fair using libertarian principles you can’t just pull them in at random for special pleading — you have to be consistent.

Palin made a real mess in Alaska for the oil industry.

You mean by making them drill and produce?

I leave most ballots blank now, only giving my vote to bona-fide tea-party candidates.

You should think about voting both candidates, that should keep someone from filling in a vote for you.

Does Cruz not know or care the corruption that got Cochran’s win??? I am disappointed and disgusted he so quickly jumped to offer his thanks to this sleazy candidate. Dang it!

Just counting those majority votes, can't be to bashful up there.

I’m making a prediction. Before long McDaniel will announce that he is supporting Cochran “for the good of the country” and will even campaign for him. Why? Because he’s going to get a call telling him his political career is over unless he plays ball. I hope I’m so wrong.

The best of them have clay feet.

This spectacle is here to remind you that you can’t count on the best people for goodness. You have to count on the Lord.

Cruz has my vote. He knows how to politically handle himself, what to say and when to say it. Cruz is our best hope for the future...he has all the qualities and he is the real deal.

Everyone does not need to be preached to for every utterance nor might they feel their salvation is in jeopardy without your admonishments.

Ted Cruz and Scott Walker...excellent and similar in many ways. They are both true, very capable Conservative candidates, and we need them both, in different capacities.

Yes, that is possibly the worst part of it: They propagandized against conservatives and demonized a good republican.
