The lurid, stereotypical tale of Sarah Palin and her family entering into an alcohol-fueled melee at a snowmobile party is starting to pick up in the mainstream media, with Good Morning America devoting an entire segment to the story this morning. In doing so, they talked to Eric Thompson, an eyewitness who attended the party at the invitation of his boss.
But Thompson, who also gave his account to Alaskan political blogger Amanda Coyne, was fired today for talking to the media.

Who would blame her for not running? The last time she considered it, half her supposed natural base turned on her and ended up backing openly, loudly and often, the ‘far more worthy’ candidate... Mitt Romney...Choke... without the slightest hint of shame. Or remorse.
Just let me know when a Palin is accused of raping or drowning another human being.

I’d be more likely to believe it if she was yelling it at her kids. As in “break it up”.
If it happened it would be a banner line.

........I really believe the Palin family did what my family would have done after the Gabby Gifford’s shooting and they simply said to her “No Way”............and that was the end of that.
Sarah, for her part, I believe, then said to herself “well, it’s too soon, I have to WAIT................until all my kids are grown! Then, if the lay of the land is good, I’ll run. If not, I won’t.

Could be. But I have to think she had a look at how trustworthy the big picture conservative right has become and that played a role as well. I mean lets face it. Would any of us say with a straight face they would trust the right wing to back them after what we have seen since Team Romney turned the dogs loose on her back when she ran with McCain?
i sure as hell wouldn’t. The PDS rampant to this day proves it. She was not good enough for many so called ‘conservatives’ and her words backed by action in office meant nothing. But Mitt was and apparently... his proven lies and actual liberalism in office were good enough to go on. Lots of people don’t want to face that. But the facts and history show it’s all the truth.
While I think this is a tempest in a teapot, the standard “it didn’t happen without video” meme is ridiculous. Wanna prove the Resurrection to me then? Where’s the video? Hell. Where’s the video of the Revolutionary War?

What it really says is that many conservatives share the same hypocrisies as the libs.
I this were a lib family, or even just Joe Blow and his family there would be a huge screeching sound.
However it’s the Palins so excuses have to be made. In fact reality has to be adjusted. Brawling is a good thing.
The libs do this same thing.
The difference is libs seem to be better at picking which hill they want to die on.
I see a lot of Freepers whooping it up for the Palins but the truth is that if you’re not already inclined to unconditionally support Sarah, this isn’t going to help any chnance she may have had to run for office again.
