If I were a) dishonest, b) power hungry with communist inspirations, and c) convinced I could get away with it - aka a Democrat - I too would postpone cancel the elections in the name of safety.
I think this one rates a Stage 3 ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome). I explored Stage 2 in my original Ebola post: Suspend the Constitution?.

Rush typically drops that line before every election then it gets repeated here.
Of course in Rush-bo fantasy world Romney was going to cream Obama so Obama ‘cancelling’ the election didn't sound quite as ridiculous as a claim as it was.
As far as ISIS/Terrorism- Yes...a big threat. I'm active duty (3 years to get my 30...and then have the country go bankrupt and get nothing for retirement...yippee) and part of my job deals with threat analysis. I'll leave it at that. So...yes...its a major threat. However, I still marvel at the fact it hasn't happened sooner. Me and my cohorts have discussed this at length to try to figure that out. The only thing we can come up with is its going to be massive...all at once....and at an appropriate time. Only they know that time.
As far as the commie rats go....yes...I have no doubt they are devious. My point is this: They've always been devious. Many of us (including me) were positive Clinton would try something in '98 or in 2000 to stay in power. POSITIVE. When that failed...well...I've grown cautious of making such predictions. Fool me once....
“El Rushbo’s” been on since 1988. That’s seven POTUS elections he’s been supposedly able to influence. He’s 3-4 in those 7 elections, a losing record.
So much for his power to shape and influence. He’s an entertainer, period.

Interesting, except that the Spanish flu was in 1918 not 1914. And the 1918 elections weren't postponed. They were held Novembter 5th, right on schedule.
Speaking of Rush as an entertainer.

If he had bothered to listen to libs on MSNBC rather than depend on Rush he would know that many MSNBC hosts call Rush the exact opposite, they call him ‘the head of the GOP party’.

So like everyone else you see Ebola and Terrorism as a threat, it’s just a question of the timing.
It’s also a question of how the Democratic National Communist party will use said events.
Of course, just as an aside the GOP is doing all it can to lose once again.
Example: Boehner saying that Amnesty will ‘help the economy’… Enough talk like that and nothing may change in November.. so maybe this is all a bunch of bloviating for nothing.
As to the commie rats, there is the adage that just because something hasn’t happened in the past, it doesn’t mean it won’t happen in the future. Before 9/11 the idea that terrorists would fly airliners into buildings was unfathomable, these days we see that as just another terrorism possibility.
The situation in the country is far different than it was back in ‘98 and 2000. The DNC has ‘progressed’ a lot further in attaining it’s power base with Obamacare and Amnesty waiting in the wings. We’re very much closer to a Constitutional tipping point this time around. I don’t see the Democratic National Communist party wanting to let all of that power go to waste.
I expect them to be used against Israel.
