Herman Cain was in Oregon last week campaigning for Art Robinson. He also addressed that issue. His comment was that if you’re looking for a perfect candidate, it ain’t gonna happen. The last perfect man died on the cross two thousand years ago.

I remember shortly after the invasion of Iraq, which took place in April, 2003, say around late May of that same year, Bill O’Reilly worrying where the WMD where. He said if we didn’t find them by September, Bush would be in trouble.
I remember yelling at O’Reilly then, “Hussein had a year to move them out, you idiot! Even Colin Powell showed the UN satellite photos of semi’s lined up at some warehouse for WMD taking them out.”
You know what was ultimately the best way to take the WMDs out of Hussein’s hands? What we did. He’s dead. What we stopped doing under OUR Hussein is continuing to lather, rinse and repeat as necessary. In other words, keep killing bad guys.

FTA...it was actually Crist who was threatening not to show up unless he had his precious fan and who, in fact, was in a last-minute meeting with debate organizers pleading for the use of the fan. You can’t make this up.
But the Crist campaign can make things up and did in this case. They wanted voters to falsely believe Scott was refusing to take the stage with Crist because Crist had the forbidden fan under his podium. The truth of the matter, as confirmed by the Florida Press Association, was that Scott had every intention of taking the stage and was not aware that Crist had jumped out there early so he could take a cheap shot at Scott with no immediate fear of reprisal. While cowardly, Crist clearly could not resist the opportunity. As Dean Ridings, the head of the Florida Press Association, confirmed, Crist not only broke the agreed-upon rules by placing a fan under his podium, but he did jump out on stage early. “We regret that one candidate was allowed to take the stage and allowed to talk before the fan issue was resolved,” Ridings said.

Of course, back then we did not have a sissy in the White House. I doubt that Jefferson or any other President back then would have allowed anybody to see him in Mom jeans, let alone make a public appearance in front of 1000's, wearing pants that his wife bought and found out later was too small for her.
Speaking of which, attending Opening Day someplace might be the only way Obama can be seen in front of a large crowd these days.

What’s happening on the talk shows is not enough War coverage of what our Military is in in Syria and Iraq(again...).
