Given how close Warner came to being tossed out, which I did NOT expect, Kaine could indeed be vulnerable if the right candidate runs against him.

Just need more votes outside of Northern VA to overcome their late night ‘miracles’.

These people have no shame, demon'rats prove yet again they think the American people are stupid(Louisiana style)...with this farce of a vote in an attempt to do a magic trick for Landrieu.

Harken, Johnson, and the idiot Franken — directly against the interests of their states.

He could’ve been ousted as long ago as 2006 if Jebbie had run (which was beneath him, of course). Instead, the FL GOP ran the most unpopular pol in the state (Katherine Harris) and in ‘12 put up the execrable Connie Mack the 4th who compared those who don’t want open borders to Nazis. I wonder what gem they’ll put up against him in ‘18.

Has anyone looked at what the vote difference will be in January, from the individual seats?

Udall (D)Colorado won't be there to vote nay. Gardner will be a yes.

I am surprised Bennett (D) CO voted yea.

This makes North America a global energy power, totally independent which will enrich our citizens. It cuts our debt, it keeps our wealth here, it lowers the cost of food, of almost everything. It betters our lives.

A bit of an overstatement.

For you FReepers who say there is not a dimes’ worth of difference between the Dems and the Repubs, take notice how many with R’s by their name voted nay? Not one. Likewise the vote on Obamacare, all Dems voted for it, all Repubs voted against it.

No difference, right.

MSNBC’s website said that the Senate “rejected” the pipeline, but the vote was 59 Yea, 41 Nay. Did it require 60%, of is it just assumed that Obama will veto it?

Being a senator wasn’t enough for Jeb’s ego.

Other than being named Bush and being married to a Latino, he really hasn’t done much.

So, the Keystone should be passed with 62 votes next years.

Won't some of the Dems that voted Yea just walk that back in Jan?

6 of the 14. Enough to push us over cloture, but not enough to override a veto.

Not that they'll take any flak from the media in their states.

That's another uncovered story.

The MSM is not only reeking with overt bias in favor of one party, they also favor that party over the interest of the states and cities they serve.

One news article said that Sen. Mary Landrieu of LA could not get enough DemocRAT Senators to vote for it to try and save her reelection bid. Too bad “Thunder Thighs”.

How many of the 14 dems that voted’yea’ will be present in January?

Well, Landrieu will probably be replaced with a Republican who will more than likely vote yea.

No. The 6 Yea Ds who will still be around have all voiced strong support for it. It’s conceivable but doubtful that some could reverse their positions.

Harkin, Rockefeller and Udall of CO will be replaced by Republicans. So, the Keystone should be passed with 62 votes next years.

End of January I think I will get my popcorn ready.
