The stepfather of Michael Brown has apologized for angry comments he made after the grand jury decided not to indict the police officer who killed his stepson, but said his remarks had nothing to do with the arson and looting that ravaged Ferguson and the surrounding area.
Louis Head said Wednesday in a statement that he was full of emotion on the night of Nov. 24, when he yelled Burn this ----- down! in a crowd of protesters.
St. Louis County police said Tuesday they are investigating Heads comments as part of a broader inquiry into the arson, vandalism and looting. Twelve commercial buildings were destroyed in the hours after the grand jury decision.

And that makes it all better...
Not good enough. Indict him, try him, convict him and sentence him.
Yes; another “sorry I got caught” non-apology.
Burn the bastard down!
Feeling a little heat where you are Louis?
Only after the threat of prosecution popped up.
.................................................... cause him’s lawyer said so
Too little, too late.
Honestly, the plans to burn down Ferguson and potentially the surrounding areas was put into place weeks or months before the Grand Jury’s decision. Now, if they caught him damaging the personal property of someone else or business, lock him up.
Too little. Too late. The damage is done and will continue.
Lewis Head is a Richard Cranium..
Yep, he has handlers making him do this.
Guess so , to save his ass. Comment on television channels promoting the riots. CNN was one.
ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
Dude, Mikey committed suicide by cop. Get over it and move on.
I was so angry and full of raw emotions, as so many others were, and granted, I screamed out words that I shouldnt have screamed in the heat of the moment. It was wrong, and I humbly apologize to all of those who read my pain and anger as a true desire for what I want for our community. That is the segment of his statement quoted by the AP article. Clearly a non-apology, since he didnt apologize for actually uttering the statements, but apologized for how people perceived them; like when Obama apologized for if you like your doctor et cetera.
I really don’t see it. He is wrong, but if I was a blindingly stupid gangsta full of emotion I may have said it. Now the “witnesses “ that perjured themselves to lynch a cop because of his skin color? I want to see them in jail.
Let’s get this straight, he wants to retroactively un-incite a riot?
