Rudy Giuliani Accuses Obama, Black Leaders Of Stoking 'Anti-Police Hatred'
The Huffington Post ^ | December 21, 2014 | Kate Sheppard

WASHINGTON -- Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) blamed this weekend's killing of two NYPD officers on anti-police "propaganda," for which he said President Barack Obama bears some responsibility.

"We've had four months of propaganda, starting with the president, that everybody should hate the police," said Giuliani during an appearance on "Fox News Sunday." "I don't care how you want to describe it -- that's what those protests are all about."

Giuliani cited the nationwide protests against institutional racism and police brutality that followed the deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in New York, and that flared up anew after the respective grand jury decisions not to indict the officers responsible in either case. Giuliani said those demonstrations, and the ongoing criticism of police tactics and the criminal justice system, were part of what led to the shooting of two NYPD officers in Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon. Police say the alleged shooter, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, traveled to New York from Baltimore with the intention of killing police officers.

The federal government wants to take over all police departments. If they can make all police hated it makes the takeover easier.

I'm pretty sure they DO NOT want to go down that road.

Unless of course they are prepared for CWII. Which can't come soon enough IMO.

That one took me down memory lane, to a place I don’t like to go.

I served for 30 years as a patrol deputy, a detective, Sergeant and detective Sergeant.... and I have been retired for 12 years. About thirteen years ago one of my deputies, a dear friend, a good man to all, a christian who helped me to know Christ, a dad, a husband, author of comic and christian books for children, and on and on, left his tour of duty for the last time.

His name was Wally Davis. On an otherwise beautiful day in August, Wally was sent to an “unknown nuisance/noise” call. Wally walked up to the front door and before he could even knock, he was shot through the screen-door. The single shotgun blast removed most of his head.

He didn’t even have a chance to draw his weapon. He never even had a chance to think of his family...and his pregnant wife.

As the leader of the Hostage Negotiation Team, I spent the next 36 hours trying to get the murderer to surrender. He did finally give up. Sometimes I wish he had .... well, you know my wish.

I had enjoyed and been blessed with a very successful career of public service and crimefighting....but after that day, my heart was no longer where it needed to be....I knew I was done. About 2 years later I retired.

There is much more I could say, there is a larger story to tell, but I suddenly don’t feel like rambling on any further.

I am not sure what my point is.....

I believe that Wally is in Heaven, so maybe I will get to see him again.

May God Bless our fallen brothers and sisters....

Rudy had to state the obvious truth since the old media monopoly continues to cover for the proglodytes.

Rush Limbaugh talked about Obama/Holder taking away Grand Jury's from police shootings. Some have said that that is just the first step in nationalizing the police.

Thank you for sharing that Gator..and for your service in our Police Forces....too many really don’t realize how much we are kept safe because of our police forces, nor how many bullits they take for us.

Before moving here I had a couple officers I kept company with....remarkable stories they shared. One time we had a 4th of July picnic on the waterfront where all the poilciemen camwith their wives.....what an eyeopener that was for me..to be around them and hear them...see them interact with one another. I have never forgotten that day.

Both Odfficers said the public hasn’t a clue of the situations they walk into, with frequency, and the things they see within households when called...not to mention every time they have to stop a vehicle.

Society is not what many imagine it to be today....there are many thugs and otherwise an ‘entitlement’ mindset which is anti-police , just as there are many anti-americans today that once would not be tolerated.

Thank you again,
Warm regards,
CW

note the bias in writing:

“...nationwide protests against institutional racism and police brutality that followed the deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in New York, ... .”

No “alleged” or “purported” institutional racism and police brutality. Just institutional racism and police brutality. Every cop and every police force in every town and city in America is a brutal racist. That is the HuffPo for you.

Rudy, warts and all, would have been a much better POTUS than anyone the Republicans have nominated since Reagan.

You are correct, but the problem is that one of his "warts" is his absolute inability to gain traction in the Republican Primary. Didn't happen in 2008 and won't happen in 2016, should he decide to try again.
