Yes, it is.

They appear to have found wreckage east of Belitung Island, according to various unconfirmed reports.

That would be a little less than halfway along it’s route.

Weather was very bad, and they had requested a deviation to avoid weather, before contact was lost.

Airbusses (sp)? and Boeings don’t just fall out of the sky. No, I’m not saying hijacking or terrorism, but it takes a series of catastrophic failures to bring one down on its own. 9 times out of 10, it is crew reaction to one or a series of issues that causes them to go down..

“Pretty soon, no one is going to want to fly on that airline.”

This wasn’t Malaysian Air. Asia Air never lost a plane before

CNN has flight map up and discussing planes in the area, etc. Talking about some type of clouds and altitude problems up to 53,000 ft.

Has to be the fault of CNN. They’re desperate for news.

How much do you want to bet that the pilot is another Islamo fascist?

Eventually people will learn to trust only certain airlines. Like Qantas.

Too early to tell. Apparently severe weather was occurring and could well be a factor.

Heads up.
Air Asia a320-200.
I will have to look into general area of vanishing etc.

Wonder if someone remoted the fly by wire systems, considering the thing chatters to home incessantly, and how feasible that is.
Read elsewhere though that the pilot requested an “unusual flight” route/plan.

Shocked when I got up this AM and they haven’t found the crash site or any sign of the plane, that is odd...since the crash was SUPPOSEDLY pinpointed last night before I went to bed.
