Greece Needs Bridge Loan, Not Bailout - PM Tsipras
Greece cannot service its huge debt and will seek a bridge loan rather than an extension of its bailout, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has said.
In an address to parliament, he also promised measures to cut bureaucratic spending and said his government would stick to all its pre-election pledges.
Mr Tsipras's far-left Syriza party won elections last month on a promise to end austerity measures.
EU officials have rejected his efforts to renegotiate Greece's bailout terms.

the Greek gov’t needs to auction off all of Greece’s real estate to pay the debts and the peeps need to all move to, say, Saudi Arabia.

Now who’s the sucker going to be that will give Greece abridge loan when they couldn’t pay off their original debt.
I for one wouldn’t take that risk unless I had some serious collateral backing it up.

Greece sounds like one of my brother-in-laws. He always needs a bridge loan also. Problem is he has not yet paid back the first bridge loan we gave him. May be I will direct him to ECB who is more generous in giving out bridge loans.

Greece needs to get its house in order. The rest of the world doesn’t need to do anything to help Greece.
Greece needs its population..its voters...educated to the realities of economics. Its voters keep voting for politicians who pander to their absurd fantasies.
Money is not the problem and not the solution.
