Wonderful. When they win they both will be able to stay home and school the kids. Perhaps even have a few more.

Liberals believe that all children are the property of the state and they alone decide how a child should be raised.

What is that flat slob Chris “Kissy” Christy doing about the gestapo state in New Jersey?

She also demanded that he remove the guns from the safe and show them to her, which he did.

Why would they comply in the absence of a warrant? The parents need to review their legal rights. There are conditions in which I would permit a government agent inside my home without a warrant, and I have done so when filing a report of a crime. However, I would never permit them inside my safe, whether I had anything inside that safe or not.

Christopher Zimmer and his wife Nicole of Belvidere filed a civil rights complaint in April in U.S. District Court in Trenton alleging “unlawful and unconstitutional home intrusion.”

That's a neat name, "Nicole of Belvidere."

Or maybe the reporter--like most reporters--just doesn't know about commas.

H/T to our FRiend Jan_Sobieski for the post.

The Communist Goals stated that they would use social agencies to enforce the regime - we have been seeing overreaching powers bestowed upon "social services" in the past.

In a number of incidents, they are also looking to equate homeschool parents with the DHS/SPLC Domestic terrorist List, as published in 2010.

For thus has the Lord said unto me:
“Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees.”

“A New Jersey family...”

This is a clear violation of this family’s God-given rights. It’s wrong. No doubt about it. But it brings up something I’ve been wondering about. There are states that allow people to be more free than others. New Jersey is obviously not one of them. I understand why people stay in their state, but people have died for freedom. We applaud immigrants who risk everything to come to America for freedom. Couldn’t people move across a state line for freedom?

It’s not just a little thing like having a 15 round mag vs a 30 round mag. Some states really want to do medical experiments on your kids, there are states who don’t, and you can move.

“Not knowing the extent of his rights, Christopher Zimmer phoned local police. ”

Mistake number 2. In order to find that out, he should have phoned a local lawyer, not the local police.

HOMESCHOOL PING

This ping list is for articles of interest to homeschoolers. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping List. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added or removed from either list, or both.

The keyword for the FREE REPUBLIC HOMESCHOOLERS’ FORUM is frhf.

She should NOT have called the police but rather her lawyer. The one from HSLDA, which she apparently did not know enough to join when she decided to homeschool.

NEVER, EVER appeal to the police, as they will side with social services, and God help you if THEY see something they don't like.

Then, there’s the new case in KY

10 homeschooled children seized on May 6th. Mother arrested when she tried to prevent police from seizing her 2 oldest. She is 5 months pregnant.

One of the children seized is an infant.

Off grid people.

If you homeschool, you should be a member of HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association). They are THE legal source for all things relating to HS’ing and gub’mint intrusion. Don’t homeschool without them.

About $100/year for legal defense - cheap in retrospect.
