Motorcycle Community Revs Up for Protests Over ‘The Waco 170'
Breitbart Texas ^ | May 28, 2015 | Lee Stranahan

Posted on 05/29/2015 4:51:25 AM PDT by don-o

As unanswered questions and controversy mount over the shooting outside a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas, there is a growing movement by motorcycle riders to protest what they see as troubling overreach by the authorities.

Breitbart Texas has previously reported on a number of inconsistencies in the story that Waco Police have told about the deadly incident. There’s a growing awareness that there seems to be much more to the story than originally reported, and bikers are taking action.

The Confederation of Clubs and Independents (CoC&I) — a political group focused on biker rights — has issued a Call To Action, urging citizens to contact law enforcement and politicians. The CoC&I has a direct connection to the Waco events, because the shooting happened outside their scheduled meeting at Twin Peaks. As the group says on its webpage:

This was a Confederation of Clubs and Independents meeting solely intended to discuss legal and political issues. It was not, as has been reported, a gang meeting to discuss turf. COC meetings have been occurring in Texas and nationwide for decades without a single violent incident. The myth being purported is simply false.

Video from inside the restaurant clearly shows the vast majority of bikers running away from the shooting and even helping civilians get to safety. Remember, law enforcement was on the scene and should have a clear picture of aggressors and victims. This should not be a guessing game. But it appears that the Waco PD arrested the majority of eyewitnesses and rights activists present at a publicly promoted political event.

Unfortunately for them, and later on down the road, us, as long as they please I suppose.

Anyone who believes that this is about a motorcycle club is stupider than an Obama voter. It is the Government, through its agent, the police, testing the waters as to what the public will believe and tolerate. The motorcycle club was used as the guinea pig because motorcycle clubs are relatively easy to demonize. And the public perception of them is that they are not nice people. But this was just a test. It will be used in earnest against the Tea Party, Second Amendment Advocates and Supporters, and Christians to name a few.

And you can bet your ass that if the police had any video[s] or witnesses that put them in a good light, they would have flooded the media outlets with them less that 12 hours after it happened.

And another day of complete silence from the authorities in Waco.

Obviously the police feared for their safety and the safety of bystanders so they were justified in opening fire.

No, BUT I did have several days when I had all kinds of malicious software issues. It seemed to be a bigger problem when I was logged onto the Conservative Treehouse site. They have had the most info on this.

I had to reboot my DSL modem, reboot my router, clean my /tmp subfolders out and restart my Linux PC several times. That has stopped now.

I also noted some Obama Twitter Trolls harassing anyone talking about this event. Trying to discredit anything said. So, this may have a component of “agenda” attached. I don’t think it is directly connected with the Waco Police, but Obama just recently “decreed” that they would stop supplying local police with surplus military heavy equipment for their SWAT Teams. (a good thing)

It is still unclear how soon this will wind down. And how many people will actually be charged with legit charges.

I don’t blame them. There is going to be a long string of lawsuits against the Waco Police over this CF.

It is clear this is difficult for the police to unravel.

By the 13th day, how difficult can it be to unravel at least the bare bones facts? Such as how many shots were fired by how many officers and what were their targets?

Compare and contract to the LE and DA handling of other recent high profile cases.

On second thought, never mind. Subhuman scum got what was coming. (Those who hold that exact sentiment will show up on thread soon.)

Care to expand on that? Or did you omit the /sarc?

Please read the article in my post #4.

I am sure that someone forced the author to remove that article from his website after I posted it on the @WacoPolice Twitter address.

It must have been sold to others, because it is still on the web in several places. It is a worthwhile read.

I also have a related one I posted here on FR.

Not from me. I am siding with the average biker on this one.

Not the 1%er hard core criminal bikers, there are some.

Normally I side with the police, but in this case they are not being credible.

So here we are.

This is an hypothesis I have, which explains and joins most of the various versions of events, including PD and non-PD witnesses. Of course, these are all rumors at this point. But this theory does tie up most versions in one plausible explanation.

It’s a given that ATF and Waco SWAT were already on scene, around the Twin Peaks, both in uniform and undercover, or concealed in vehicles.

It’s been stated in numerous accounts that a first scuffle broke out in the bathroom. Some allege that an undercover cop was wearing “false colors” into the Twin Peaks and was called out over it in the bathroom. IOW, the u/c false biker’s cover was blown. In the bathroom, it became heated, and the u/c cop pulled out his pistol, “badged up,” and tried to get out of the restaurant. Angry pushing ensues, possibly involving other brandished knives/pistols.

On the Waco PD tactical radio channel, all of the SWAT officers outside are hearing, “Officer in peril! Officer is being assaulted! Officer in trouble! Officer has weapons pointed at him! Officer needs help!”

As the little crowd (u/c cop with blown cover, surrounded by angry bikers) emerges from the Twin Peaks onto the parking lot, the already-present SWAT snipers have drawn beads on the Cossacks around the u/c false biker cop. The SWAT guys know who the officer is by a “telltale” such as a unique bandanna etc. They see knives and or guns being pointed at the u/c officer as he tries to flee the scene, his cover utterly blown.

One of the SWAT snipers perceives that the u/c cop is in immediate danger, and shoots one of the Cossacks who is holding a weapon, dropping him. After the first shot is made, it’s a case of “sympathetic shooting.” This was first discussed after the NYPD shooting of the unarmed Amadou Diallo in 1999. Basically, once ANYBODY fires a shot, all the cops will empty a magazine. “Shooting is shooting,” the brain just perceives a battle, not a one-way massacre.

So each of the SWAT snipers, firing scoped semi-auto carbines or scoped bolt guns, “takes out” one or more of the Cossacks around the “officer in danger.”

In the aftermath, the Waco PD has to cook up an alternative “gang war” story to cover their own disastrous actions, from sending in an u/c biker whose cover could be blown, to having a SWAT team on a hair trigger waiting outside, to the ensuing “sympathetic shooting” sniper massacre.

In this case, ballistics and blood trails will tell the tale. Even if the Waco PD tried to sanitize the scene, CSI-wise. Even if the Waco DA tries to strong-arm all 170 arrested bikers into signing “no lawsuit” gag agreements under threat of prison and financial ruin.

The above is just a theory I’m positing, a theory that to my mind explains all the known facts.

The truth will come out.

I just Posted this on this weeks Race Thread (Y'All come join us if Ya want.)

Dover to dedicate POW/MIA National Chair of Honor "One Empty Seat": On Sunday, May 31, Dover International Speedway will dedicate a special POW/MIA memorial as part of their pre-race activities before the "FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks" NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The POW/MIA National Chair of Honor "One Empty Seat" is an initiative that was created to help recognize and honor the more than 92,000 American soldiers who are unaccounted for since World War I. These unoccupied seats are dedicated to the memory of the brave men and women and to the sacrifices each made in serving our country. A commemorative stand and plaque are mounted in section 103, Row 1, of the Dover grandstands in front of the empty chair, describing its significance. Before the race, Colonel Len Gratteri with the Delaware National Guard will unveil this meaningful memorial in honor of his uncle, Private First Class John Straley, who has been missing in action since January 1964. The Rolling Thunder group will also participate in a ceremonial parade lap before that race that will include approx. 150 motorcycles. The effort to dedicate the chair at Dover International Speedway was spearheaded by Patrick J. Hughes, who served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Hughes is a member of Rolling Thunder Inc. National Chapter. A mission of Rolling Thunder is the POW/MIA National Chair of Honor program, "One Empty Seat," which aims to place chairs in stadiums across the United States to pay respect to those service men and women who are still missing.(Dover International Speedway)(5-29-2015)

Well I wonder if LEO's are going to go after THIS Biker "Gang"???

I read it. It dovetails with what I have seen happening. It has brought about the police’s attitude of it is us vs. them. We are the them.

As this drags on and the police have been unable to provide any facts that cast them in a more favorable light notice how the “they had it coming” posters have dwindled. While not a “biker type” (no tats, Born Again, etc.) I have ridden since a teen in the 60s. I discovered early on that there was a rare auto driver that tended to be middle aged male who just unexplainable lost his mind when he saw a motorcycle. I have had them change lanes into mine while making eye contact, pull up and want to race then swerve in ahead of me, and all kinds of idiot stunts. The reason I have survived is I learned to discern who to avoid. Like the Valley Girl talking on her cell you can spot as she speeds up behind you 5 cars back because the little door on the fuel tank is open. I call it the idiot flag.

If you ride to live you have to learn discernment. I suspect the “they got what they deserve” posters to be the same as the middle aged guy who transforms into a violent, aggressive driver at the sight of a motorcycle. Momma wouldn’t let him ride so he hates all of us for it. Mommy issues.

that was not the link to the author’s website, it was a link I later found that was still carrying the article.

I can go back and get the original (now non working) link if you like, but I saw no point in sending it.

Here is what I got when I tried the original link:

http://rutherford.org/system_messages/404

this was the original link:

http://rutherford.org/publications_resources/john_whiteheads_commentary/militarization_is_more_than_tanks_and_rifles_its_a_cultural_disease_ac

It no longer exists on the site.
