07/08/15

Posted on 07/08/2015 10:37:55 AM PDT by Enlightened1

Global Reset Soon?

Let's recap the anomalies in the the last 24 hours.

1) Pope calls for one world government.

2) Chinese stock trading halted.

3) U.S. stock exchange halted.

4) Banks closed in Greece.

5) US mint suspends sale of American Eagle coins.

6) United Airlines flights grounded.

7) Web sites like Wall Street Journal (financial web site) and Zerohedge (financial web site) shut down.

8) Possible Cyber Attack?

Feel free to add to the list.

Can we connect the dots, or is this just a coincidence?

I think it is a warning that two things MUST be done to create a real economic recovery:

1. We must drastically overhaul our tax system to be extremely simple and encourage savings and capital formation staying in the USA.

2. We must drastically overhaul government regulations to be much simpler so cost of compliance will be way lower.

Do these two changes and the US economy will go from a "false" recovery to a real recovery in a big way.

“SOmething wicked...”

“Computer glitch” shuts down stock market and United Airlines and the Wall Street Journal - all at the same time.

A family member is a pilot for United Airlines. He called us and was he was stuck on the runway for over two hours when he called. Due to no more contact, we THINK he must be in the air now.

Will send you Freepmail about these three shutdowns.

I really would not want to be in the air right now....just in case.

Hey Slim, you still dry? All that rain the last few days has me looking for a guy with animals two-by-two following him.

We’ve gotten 2 3/4” in the last two days. Amazing.

Actually that is EXACTLY what we’re talking about. 90% of the websites on the planet can be gone with one unplugged cord. Not permanently. But until somebody figures out which cord and plugs it back in. Crashed harddrives, lost power, bad OS updates, bad website updates. Humans screw things up all the time.

Me, either. I am worried about him and won’t be “unworried” until we hear he is safely on the ground. I hope he doesn’t have to fly somewhere else today.

Sure looks like China is attacking the US, particularly Chicago.

Lot's of hits at Kansas City, MO. Lot's of federal data systems there from what I understand.

I remember the crash of ‘87 which was caused by everybody using software that had the same logic and reacted the same way to conditions.

Just about NO downed servers are attacks. Pretty darn close to zero plane crashes are terrorists. Recognize your own groundless paranoia.

Amazing.

Yes. I keep waiting to see if my slab foundation will float away. Problem is, I want closer to the north side of the lot, but the flow is north to south...

I agree. However, then there are the “all too convenient” outages.

I don’t think you get where I’m coming from here. Either that or you just disagree with me.

There are plane crashes and there are terrorist attacks. Being able to discern which is which is not paranoia.

That’s the time of year that the stock market almost always crashes. (Could be October)

This is by points:

http://moneymorning.com/2014/02/13/stock-market-crash-history-dows-10-biggest-one-day-plunges/

By percentage, it seems to lean October:

http://moneymorning.com/2014/02/21/stock-market-crash-history-dows-10-biggest-one-day-percentage-losses/

So I’m going to go with the start of the crash in Sept, but a serious dive a few weeks later. Then it bottoms out and slowly rebounds.

If I were in the game, I’d be cashing in my chips no later than mid-August.

(Hubs and I just decided to hold off on buying a house for this very reason. We think that the real estate market is going down again over the next year or two. Can’t hurt to wait a bit.)

With all that said - we’re going to begin to buy stocks sometime this winter. (Not touching the bond market... ever.)
