GOP ELITES PLOT TO BAR FRONTRUNNER TRUMP FROM DEBATE
Breitbart.com ^ | 7-23-2015 | JOHN NOLTE

Posted on 07/23/2015 8:33:54 AM PDT by servo1969

As if we need more proof of how tone deaf and self-destructive GOP elites can be towards their most reliable voters, the New York Times reports that at a weekend meeting of the Republican Governors Association there was an attempt by some “donors and operatives” to come up with a plan to bar current Republican frontrunner Donald Trump from the presidential debates.

****************

The Republican Party has lost the popular vote in 4 of the last 5 presidential elections. The only election won was the re-election of a sitting president (Bush in ’04) during a time of war. Not only are these geniuses still in charge, these geniuses seem to believe that disenfranchising 25% of Republican primary voters (Trump’s support in the most recent national poll) through elite shenanigans is a smart strategy.

You’re barking at the choir, frankly. But realistically, that one big honking, steaming pile of illegal alien misery and sh!t, time trouble and future cost is still largely his campaign right now.

You don’t have to tell me anything about the extent of what illegal aliens actually mean to this country. Additionally, no one else here is saying or have said anything much different than I have been saying here for years about illegals. I know exactly what they are and what they mean.

That does not, however, mean I have to let that this primary issue for Trump color my outlook in what I look for from a conservative candidate.

Knowing what Clinton did during his time in any office he held and allowing the terrorists to attack leading up to 9/11 while undermining the United States afterward during a time of war.
George Bush should be ashamed!

Bushes and Clintons are two sides of the same coin, they fool people into believing there’s actually a difference between them.

I'd like to know who he would pick to fill the various posts in his administration especially the Attorney General and Secy of State. You can be sure it won't be an Eric Holder type for AG or a Hillary Clinton and John Kerry for SoS.

Don't understand what you mean about Israel making it's own agreement with Iran.

I like Carly for VP, she is as sharp as a knife. Easy on the eyes and could help bring in the woman vote.

We as the people in the stands can not do very much about what the Uniparty does. But if the Republican wing of the Uniparty cuts Trump out they will be very sorry.
This is a simple matter: If the Democrats put up Granny she beats Jeb and America loses. If The Republicans put up Walker it makes no difference who the Democrats put up he will roll. So for me, no Walker= stay home because the game is rigged anyway.

If you’re talking about Cruz, yes. A very big bump. It is the frivolity of whoever these pollsters are polling that puzzles me, frankly. Jeb, and the rest of the huckster RINOs getting as much as they do. In some respects my only solace is that I won’t be around too much longer to see what they reap.

The Gope ‘is setting’ the stage for third party by opposing Trump as they are......I believe they’d see the party split and let Hillary win rather than see any other then Jeb take the Presidency.....

They want an elite-backed candidate who will do the bidding of the Oligarchs, doesn’t matter which Party he or she comes from.

I’d certainly hope what you posit might be possible if “trying it their way” via the bastard GOPe party doesn’t pan out.

The only thing I know right now is that I’ll be goddamned if I hold my nose one more time for the GOP in their third time at bat - especially with a guy better suited to be a google-eyed circus geek with a name people know.

Texas is going to vote for, who, Hillary?!

The rust belt will be falling over themselves to vote for Trump.

I think Cruz is a talented guy as a lawyer but I don’t see him as a president and even less as a veep (which would be a dreadful waste of talents).

So far, everyone I talk to is voting Trump.

Time to burn up the telephone lines, zip our wallets, and no campaign volunteers to work on any campaign but Trumps.

Aside from Mr. Trump, I’m already down to two Republicans whom I will vote for.

If any others are the GOP nominee, I hope Mr. Trump runs Independent.

5 for 6 sounds like a plan. Then let them go the way of the Whigs.

Fox won't ban Trump from the debate if he's one of the top ten. The network would never live THAT down as it has published the debate rules...and they will stand. Besides, Trump would probably sue Fox for billions if he was in the top ten and yet was banned.

What I really worry about is the unfettered polling companies rigging the results of the final two-days-before-the-debate poll results.

No time to catch them in polling-question-manipulation and/or numbers-counting fraud with only 48 hours to do so.

right now Jbush has the 13,000 rich donors who will foot the bill to fund their do nothing politician.

They are literally paying to have a two identical do nothing candidates jbush/hclinton in the WH so they can continue to loot.
