What is more “nativist” than the Vatican?

Not one word on Planned Parenthood or the Supreme Court decision to codify homosexual acts as equal to the acts of Heterosexual Couples in marriage. However, he is all for hoards of illegal immigrants invading our country unchecked and expects the tax payer to support them with out so much as a question as to how or why they are here.

This guy has always been a putz of the worst order and single handedly brings extreme shame and scandal t the American Catholic Church. He should be removed from office and defrocked for his obscene handling of his diocese in St. Louis as well as his continued inability to lead.

Too bad many of them are incredibly bad Catholics and even worse Justices. Specifically Kennedy and Sotomayor.

Cardinal Dolan writes at the New York Daily News: "During those happy days decades ago when I taught American religious history to university students, I spent a chunk of time in class on the ugly phenomenon called nativism, defined by the scholar and author Ray Allen Billington as, 'organized, white, Protestant antagonism toward the Catholic immigrant.'"

"Nativism?" One of the things that has long annoyed me about Catholicism is its incessent use of categorization to escape the discussion of specific issues. Take any position about something, and instead of being dealt with personally, the Catholic response is inevitably to drop your position into some labelled "ism" and then be dealt with according to how the Church deals with that category of disagreement - which are themselves further categorized by cross-referencing labels.

"Well you see, I've been contemplating the nature of the infinitude of Christ compared to the infinitude of God, and really, to say that one is derived from the other defeats the use of the word "infinity..."

"Ah yes, that's a Class II heresy based on Albigensianism. Basically fatal, so you don't want to go there. Take the next step and reach Class I and then your soul goes into the Papal Double Inxnay category and I won't be able to discuss this subject with you anymore."

"But wait a minute, you haven't discussed anything yet! What I was trying to say is that when you look at the definition of infinity itself..."

"Sorry, these issues were dealt with clearly and finally at the Council of Nine Trees in Southwestern Bulgaria in the year 516. What you've done is allowed a fundamental error into your thinking that simply must be purged. Re-study your catechism, repeat the words until they stick, and everything will be fine. Just stop playing with things that are not to be touched in the first place."

"But..."

"Faith and obedience, my son." [Door Closing]

100 years ago, there was no illegal immigration to speak of.

100 years ago, if an immigrant wanted to eat, he worked.

100 years ago, immigrants were assimilated—a task accomplished in large part by ethnic parishes—which the bishops allowed the government to destroy systematically without a peep.

But the most important point:

Immigrants of all kinds, of all origins, legal and illegal, vote 70-80% PRO-ABORTION.

The Catholic bishops of this country have been trying to destroy the pro-life movement for 45 years. Mass immigration is just the latest strategy for eliminating the pro-life movement in America.

Cardinal Dolan: Shove it.

Trump’s daughter converted to Judaism and his son’s married into Jewish families. Don’t know who converted who in that case. Trump is Presbyterian from his Mom I think.

There are THREE Catholics on the Court: Alito, Scalia, and Thomas.

Dolan is as deep as a piece of paper, a show horse, with a following about as long as a sidewalk is wide.

Disgusting Marxist. I am so angry.

How much taxpayer money is the cardinal getting to resettle hispanic and muslim “refugees”? His comments are impossible to evaluate unless we know the financial facts.

Rubio is Baptist-Catholic, according to him in an interview. Unless it serves his purpose to “be Catholic” for the election cycle.

He was raised Catholic but attends the Baptist Church.

Trump is Presbyterian. His mother was born in Scotland, IIRC.

I am a native American and I love nativism. The only thing I am missing is a gambling casino.

I am native American by Indian blood and also early European settlers who came here in the 1620s before the USA was formed.
