Newly released emails from Lois Lerner show the former IRS official at the heart of the Tea Party targeting scandal calling Republican critics evil and dishonest, and even hateful.
The emails -- part of a report released Aug. 6 by the Senate Finance Committee -- offer a revealing look at Lerner, who used to head the division that processes applications for tax-exempt status and was at the center of the scandal over the alleged targeting of conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status.
The bipartisan report found evidence that both the Obama administrations political agenda, and the personal politics of IRS employees, including Lerner, impacted how the IRS did its job, according to Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, chairman of the Finance Committee.
A deeper look at the communications, first reported by Politico, shows Lerner taking aim at lawmakers for their tough questioning, particularly following a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing in 2014.

I see Hillary and think: Backpfeifengesicht!
Yeah. Wake me up for the sentencing.
If she had been a Republican the headlines today would be screaming;
LERNER'S RACIST EMAILS
IRS Official Voiced Support for Continued Slavery in the South
Short of a burlap sack how did this old pallid harpy with her hair dye and ridiculous Dorothy Hamill bob expect to look good?
I hope she likes orange.................................
Just another typical apparatchik.
Good points! Too bad the investigation didn’t take the directions that you suggest. It WOULD BE very interesting to find out to whom she communicated with.
Why is this shriveled-up old hag still free? it needs to be in jail, like the rest of the corrupt administration.
Another sociopath employed as a government bureaucrat.
There’s a shocker.
The job of Government employees is to apply and enforce the law and regulations as written and as per precedent and case law.
Personal opinions can’t be allowed to enter into the equation.
Imagine if, under a GOP president, a senior INS manager had decided to drag his dept’s feet on Hispanic immigration applications because they considered Hispanics to be “dirty and leeches”?
What I don’t get here is why Lois can’t be, hasnt been, personally sued into oblivion over this. There’s no way this falls into the official duties protections afforded to Federal employees and guaranteed through various insurance plans. Even launching such suits would force her to spend a big chunk of her pension to defend/try to get dismissed.
No bias here....
