Whenever I go to any store at Christmas and they say happy holidays, I just look at them with contempt and say...which one.
Whomever controls the language controls the debate. It may not seem like a huge issue, but it's part of the de-Christianizing (is that a word?) of America.
Sometimes I wonder. Does Trump lurk here?
And just be glad that your in America where we can celebrate the Lord’s birth....and Easter when he was returned to Our Father In Heaven...

Someone should ask if Trump would have an iftar supper at the white house or celebrate Kwanzaa. I would love to hear him just say, “No.”
Ben Carson has been speaking out about political correctness but he is more soft spoken.
His aides probably do. He’s too busy hunting every camera or microphone put within reach to lurk anywhere.

FWIW, it is an important issue. It’s about politically correct speech controlling the thought process. Trump has gone out of his way to put an end to politically correct speech.
Last time I tried to be PC was when I thought the president of my company was Jewish and I told him happy Hanukkah. He was a Catholic and not happy about it.
Last Christmas dinner I mentioned not liking the “happy holidays” schtick and my obama-loving mother in law chimed in: “I say it so as not to offend my Jewish and muslim friends” - of which she has none, making her an idiot and a liar - as in typical leftist.

Ehh, I just see the “happy holidays” thing as pretty low on the PC scale. Maybe it’s because I live in an area with a pretty large Jewish population (Muslims too, for that matter)—there are a lot of people around here who do, in fact, celebrate different holidays in December, so it kind of makes sense.

Love it. For similar reasons, I go out of my way to find real Christmas stamps, and not generic “Holiday”, “Season’s Greetings” stamps.
Yes, it’s a little thing, but if it annoys one Liberal, it was worth it.
