I stand with Kim Davis! I will not comply!

Free Republic is and always will remain a pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-constitution, pro-liberty site.

The recent SCOTUS ruling against marriage is a travesty against God, country and constitution. It is a shot against Christianity. The government has now officially declared war on Christianity and against individual Christians. Kim Davis is the first casualty who was actually jailed, but will not be the last. The Marxist/fascists have now taken over our government from the top down and will attempt to stomp out all resistance and the black-robed nazi judges will do their bidding. Any Christian speaking out against homosexualism will be targeted for the re-education camps (they're actually doing this already in the military). Christianity is now a hate group and the bible a hate book. Thou shalt not quote from the holy bible.

Your church and your pastor will be next. And then you.

America is and always has been a Judeo-Christian nation. Our nation was founded on the great truth that our unalienable rights are bestowed upon us by God our Creator and cannot be lawfully removed by a godless socialist/fascist government gone awry. We will not comply with this obviously unconstitutional ruling that flies in the face of the first amendment and the very principles our nation was founded on. If we fail to successfully resist, then the great Marxist/fascist coup will have succeeded and America will no longer exist as a free nation.

This is a war for God, family, country and we cannot afford to lose.

And this is only the opening salvo. We are about to experience the greatest tyranny since the communists took Russia and the nazis took Germany. It didn't work then and it won't work now. The same God that gave us life, gave us liberty and as much as they want to try, government cannot stomp out God or liberty. God lives on in our our hearts and man will always yearn to live free.

As long as God gives us breath, we will fight to defend our God, our Constitution and our Liberty.

As the man said, give me liberty or give me death!

I have no problem supporting Hobby Lobby. I know every dollar I spend at these places is like a "vote" for their companies beliefs. I just can't give my "vote" away freely to those I disagree with.
Sure, I'm not perfect by far. I'm sure I'm supporting things I'm unaware of. But I do shun those I know about, and I believe withholding my "vote" from a PC organization is a "vote" for the good guy!

You bet. Listening to the news yesterday was like living in another dimension.
One high school kid who "feels like a girl" wants access to the girls shower room at school. 150 kids walked out of school to fight it, yet the school believes making one queer nut job feel good about himself while making the other 150 normal students suffer is beyond belief! In what sane country would something like this happen?
Planned Parenthood was busted for killing, dismembering, and selling the internal organs of human infants and the government gives them another $1 million in additional aid to kill even more! In what world does this make sense?
This poor woman just wants to keep her conscience clean and live out her life in faith, and she gets put in jail for being a Christian. Yet at the same time, homo perverts, killers, and rapists of certain races, nationality, or political affiliation are becoming a protected class? What happened to the planet Earth?
What about black lives matter? Inner city thugs get shot or die from a self inflicted illness and somehow the police who protect the lives of everyone else are considered the bad guys? What? really?
Then there's the nuke deal. We're actually paying Iran $11.9 billion to build a nuclear bomb to strike the U.S. and Israel as long as they promise not to do it until Oboma and the current batch of Democrats leave office. This is how out of control our leaders are! And the Republicans, who were given a major go ahead to stop Oboma from his evil rampage are sitting in their luxurious offices playing solitaire!

The U.S. government, and the courts, have all become possessed or something. It's like they're deliberately trying to destroy their own country for some reason.
Could someone please explain this upside down world to me? What the heck is happening to to peoples minds? Many voters actually support all this destruction, too. It's like they can't even see their hands in front of their faces.

No, that’s not what I wrote. What I wrote was be careful who you choose as a symbol, it can come back and bite you. Everybody was lifting the girl from the movie “Juno” onto their shoulders as positive role model. She came out about a year later as a woman homosexual. What does this fight for freedom look like?

Article VI, Clause 2 (the Supremacy Clause) of the U.S. Constitution, confirmed by the Ninth and Tenth Amendments, give individual states valid basis for nullifying and rejecting unconstitutional federal acts which by definition are acts of tyranny. Individual states must begin doing this, which, of course will mean those states must be ready for financial independence from the feds – but of course that is the basis of America to begin with – INDEPENDENCE.

Individual states must in good-faith nullify unconstitutional federal acts and notify the feds and the world why the nullified and rejected acts are unconstitutional. This is the only basis for further action which one would hope would not be needed unless necessary.

At some point, individual state secession may be necessary. The Declaration of Independence gives instruction and guidance for valid secession. The D of I shows valid secession 1) should not be “for light or transient causes” 2) requires a certain “patient sufferance” while “evils are sufferable” 3) notifying and submitting the facts of abuse “to a candid world” (27 specific abuses are listed in the D of I) and finally 4) When a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty to throw off such Government.” This is not a constitutional dictate, but, as the D of I says, what “Prudence, indeed, will dictate...”
