You seriously believe if Trump hadn’t been in the race and Yeb and/or a few of the other RINOs were leading in the polls and ALL of the issues that matter were being dodged by the GOPe and the GOPe candidates were cowering from continuous attacks by the kommie media, that the handful of conservatives in the House would have come out charging hard against Boehner? I think not. It would have been business as usual for Boehner, pre-Trump.
I just watched that speech yesterday with Boehner at the Pope’s shoulder, making those ridiculous faces as he tried and failed to control himself. He is an absolute embarrassment. I think the man needs to get his hormones checked...or maybe when he leaves, Pelosi can return his nut sack to him.

Similarly, the RNC knows well that there are always those shills for whom party loyalty trumps ideology, principle, or ethics. A politician is indicted for embezzlement and/or buggering little boys? No problem, he’s a Republican! The GOP nominates candidates whose policy positions or voting records differ marginally if at all from Democrats? That’s OK too, as long as they’re Republicans!
