Putin’s always seen Obama as a weakling and at best counting on Obama to be a “useful idiot” ...He’s preyed on Obama’s biggest weakness...Obama’s desire to ‘look’ Presidential, be popular, and inspire people to ‘think’ he is a great leader....but basically Putin intimidates Obama.
I think you’re right.
There was another photo of the two of them I saw about a week ago online, at a dinner or lunch gathering & was rather revealing in body language and facial expression. Obama was frowning at Putin, and Putin was smiling back at him. On one level I think it’s the Russian (cultural) way, of saying “I won or am in control over you”.. you know, the smug smile type thing..
Obama sure is an expert on many things. We are so fortunate.
There aren't 60 liberals on the planet who will even understand Obama's flip-flop there.
They ought to bomb the Terrorists Russia supports in Ukraine,
Russia could become a Muslim nation soon and Putin is the #1 terrorist supporter out there.
Correct, as the chaos maker...he paves the way for the new caliphate and Mahdi to bring peace to the region.
and our side never mentions all of that, and for sure the media will not.
and as far as I know not one of our side elected officials has raised this question.
Who have we been bombing then, and has it been Assad forces meaning we went to war with another country while ignoring the atrocities being done by ISIS, not ISIL which the fairy boy likes to call them.
When the enemy has no sanctuaries or supply lines, they die and quagmires are avoided.

RUSSIAN war planes have struck 10 Islamic State (ISIS) targets in the past 24 hours including a suicide belt factory. The country’s defence ministry said Russian bombers had also taken out a terrorist training camp during 20 sorties. “As a result of our air strikes on Islamic State targets, we have managed to disrupt their control system, the terrorist organisation’s supply lines, and also caused significant damage to the infrastructure used to prepare acts of terror,” the ministry announced. The spokesperson added that the strikes took place in Idlib and Raqqa, the self-proclaimed Syrian capital of the terror group....
The regional chess board is a real mess and it is very hard to tell what is really going on with all the proxy players in the mix.
Syria's allies being, "Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said Sunday his governments coalition with Russia, Iran and Iraq must succeed in Syrias civil war for the sake of the regions future stability, according to an interview with Iranian state television.
The alliance must succeed, otherwise we are facing the destruction of the entire region and not just one or two states, Mr. Assad said in the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network interview." from the Wall Street Journal.
Ok, sounds simple enough for who Assad's allies are in the region. Now, America is not on that list, instead we're with the Saudi's in this game of proxy war. Saudi Arabia wants Assad out, America wants Assad out and there is a whole coalition that has been participating pawns in this proxy war.
For a great insight take a read of this article: INSIGHT-US, allies short on options as Russia,Iran flex muscle in Syria
and this might help too... Connecting Syria's allies and enemies And lastly, one needs to look very closely at the Saudi's. Do a youtube search for ISIS funding and Saudi Arabia. You will find a comparison of the state version of islam and the existence of ISIS. While the official line of the government is they are trying to stop funds from going out to hardline Wahhabis ISIS, the truth is we have no way to verify it.
One of the best explanations I have read or heard and thank you for the links.
President sippy-cup.
Look at their body language. Obama, head back, looking down his nose, petulant, classic narcissism. Putin, looks relaxed, but you also get a sense that he is thinking meeting with Obama is a complete waste of his time. He looks positively bored.
