-— Just to add; I once asked a liberal friend how much he made. He said, “I take home-——” -—

One of the great cosmic ironies in human history is that witholding was Million Friedman’s idea.

That is a flaw in Trump’s tax plan. Those who make less than a certain amount get the “you won”, or “I win” thing.

I think a lot of Millenials have concluded that there are no longer real jobs for them, so they may as well become professional students.

Forgiving loans of those who have already graduated will be a much bigger vote buying scam. “Honey, we can buy a [house, boat, car] if we no longer had to make that loan payment!” They’ll crawl over broken glass to vote for it.

“90% of taxes would never get paid as most people would have already spent the money.

That’s true Frog! And the trouble they’d get in would make them even more pissed off!

The purpose of this show was for Sanders and Hillary TO KEEP BIDEN OUT.

Sanders could have killed Hillary on the email thing and on several issues. But he knew that if he killed her, Biden would step in because the eDNC does not want him to be the nominee. Biden getting in at this point would have be a PITA for Sanders as he doesn’t have the energy to compete with Joe. By tossing a lifeline to Hill, he gives her some air and keeps Joe out of the race.

The press had all but told Hill to either not implode on stage or else they will give Biden the green light. That was why the whole “extra podium” stunt took place. It was a warning that either she looks credible or they will take her out like they did in 2008.

Sanders saved Hill for his sake. He will dispense of her when it’s safely past the point where Biden could get in.

it’s hurting the people you’re trying to help. It’s denying them their dignity.

They’ve already increased the debt to $25 trillion. Why not $50 trillion.

I took auto trades in high school, never intended to pursue it as a career, but that knowledge has saved me a allot of money over the last 30 years.

I have a cousin who was a professional student but never went anywhere with it.

You're right, the loan forgiveness better not happen, it's in the vein of granting citizenship to illegals while slapping those who followed the rules by immigrating lawfully--or paid their student loans back in the face. I paid my loan back, all $1200 of it, har. It was good for one year of technical school, and turned out to be an intensely accelerated shop class, that I'd recommend to anyone looking to expand or hone their skills. It helped me become a pretty good fabricator.

I’m with you there. EITC and Compassionate Conservative efforts to “drop low-income from the tax rolls” means they have no skin in the game.

**********************************************************************

When someone mentions the Earned Income Tax Credit (E.I.T.C.), I like to remind everyone of where it came from:

First proposed by Richard Nixon, he wasn’t around long enough to sign it into law, that dubious honor was Gerald Ford’s. EITC has increased under every administration since, without exception.

Let’s be really careful who we vote for, that “R” after their names doesn’t mean a whole lot.

***Heck, free college will cost close to a trillion every year.***

You forgot to add the extra expense of it being “FREE”...

You said..
“How does one campaign against Santa Claus?”

Fairly easily with a strong candidate espousing conservatism.

The problem of “free” college is the people with student loans would scream about the unfairness of it and would expect those loans to be forgiven.

The problem is the education our children get at the college level is what they should be receiving at the high school or middle school level. Our children are being dumbed down.
