Mannish women are often treated as one of the boys from a young age. they grow up doing more male things and their femininity is benched because they don’t ‘look the part’ and so gravitate to what they experience. In their case, it’s being more dude than dudette.

Think about it broadly. Guys that are 4 ft. 10 and 85 pounds soaking wet do not often play basketball or work in the Canadian north west as lumberjacks. They gravitate to what works for them. Guys with sausage fingers aren’t often accomplished pianists or flamenco guitarists.

Now to be sure there are exceptions all the way around. Some mannish women embrace being female and are married with kids. I have known a couple relatively small lumberjacks. Some sausage handed guitarists have played on some of history’s greatest hits.

But overall, people move into familiar/comfortable categories/jobs/activities and physical attributes are a part of that.

Sounds to me like you went different ways, weren’t together all the time, and each of you made different choices. That is how I define individual behavior and affected by environment.

This has been admitted as a tactic by the ‘Gay Lobby’ lawyers to treat homosexuality as a ‘Right’.

Most gay men admit to being sexually assaulted as a child. That alone may be enough to cause trauma to the brain, but I digress...

And there is a lot of gay apologist crap.

Would you like to hear about my ‘gay’ sister in law that ‘knew from birth she was gay’ until an easier scam came along and suddenly she wasn’t? Ever?

It’s a mental illness. Get your brother counseling.

Not so much compelled as predisposed, in my way of looking at it.

Other twin studies show that genetic predisposition to homosexuality is about the same as for genetic predisposition to drug addiction.

In other words, I see male homosexuality as an addictive behavior brought about by inadequate processing of environmental factors.

I would agree that some individuals may have a congenital abnormality that leads to higher or lower levels of testosterone, but that still would not account for same sex attraction.

That’s the thing, though. I never made a choice to be straight. It never occurred to me that hey, I need to make a choice whether to be gay or straight, just like for him, he never thought, no, I don’t want to be straight, I want to be gay.

Being gay for him was hard and he took a lot of shit for it, even before he told anyone. He didn’t act gay or talk a certain way, but people could tell. I could tell years before he came out to my parents and me.

But he never crushed on girls when he was younger. He always crushed on boys. I never crushed on a boy, I’ve never had a gay experience. But I never made that choice. That was just the default. Same as being gay was his default.

Out of the four people in my immediate growing up family, my brother, myself, and my parents, he is probably the one in least need of counseling.

He’s definitely the most level-headed of us all.

-— What I’m getting at, is that could there be some physiological component to homosexuality??? -—

Twins studies don’t support it AFAIK.

There comes the day with a choice, and then you make one. Until then, you’re simply someone who has never made a choice regarding X, Y, or Z.

How can you sit here with a straight face and say that a man willingly taking part in sexual acts that can kill him, and others, in ways that are horrible, is level headed?

Have you or he ever visited an AIDS ward and watched a gay person die? At what point does a level headed person make the call that such a death is a fair trade for anal sex?

He may be a very ‘intelligent’ parson in every other aspect of life. He may be a fine person otherwise. But he has a mental illness and you are in denial about it because you love your brother.

There is a ton of homosexual hatred and delusion about what it is to be homosexual on this site.

What do you think of God's statements on the matter?

So you thought, hmm, should I be gay or straight at some point in your life?

It never occurred to me to be gay. It never occurred to me to do a lot of things. That doesn’t mean I made a choice not to do them. I’ve never looked at a child and thought, well, should I rape them or not?

I’m not particularly religious, so I don’t have a biblical reason to be opposed to someone being gay, as long as they practice it with consenting adults. I believe my brother should have the lawful protections afforded to being married as I do. I realize that’s not going to win me any friends here, but I don’t give a damn.

From a young age, as soon as I became somewhat sexually aware, I fantasized about what I would do with women. Straight out, never thought about being with a guy. But there are people with different opinions on the subject, from a little curious to bisexual, to mostly gay, to full out gay. Promiscuity of any of these is not good and can lead to a host of problems and diseases. That is true whether you are gay or straight.

It’s not up to anyone else to question or cast aspersions on my sexuality, and I feel the same about anyone else. We all have to make our way in this life, and not everything is a choice. Some things you just know.

This article is all wrong.

There is plenty of scientific evidence of gay jeans out there.

Wisdom comes from strange places sometimes. Like a movie

Edwards: Why the big secret? People are smart. They can handle it.

Kay: A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow.

I have had friends die of AIDS, and it is horrible.

My brother has told me he’s not a fan of anal sex and prefers oral or manual acts. That’s as far as we’ve gotten with it.

I know plenty of straight men who want nothing more than to have anal sex with their female partners. It’s not for me, but I don’t question it.

There are plenty of gay men who live out their lives without doing sexual disease ill to themselves. There are plenty of straight guys who have all sorts of illnesses.

There is a wide wide variety of sex that can take place between two people of either sex. That can include anal action as they see fit.

You don’t even realize how far you are into justification.

“Prefers?” As in still partakes, knows the consequenses and does it anyway?

Level headed?

You ARE aware that Oral will spread aids too right?

God Almighty, I’ve known that since the effing 90’s.

Fags are faggots because they are mentally insane and boy rapists. period. It is simply unnatural.
