“If the Republican caucus were being held today, and the candidates were Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Jim Gilmore, Lindsey Graham, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, George Pataki, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, and Donald Trump, who would you support?”

For participants in Iowa who were asked this question in a new Quinnipiac Poll, 25 percent of likely GOP caucus voters picked Donald J. Trump.

Kasich Part Of Wrong 1%

TexasSen. Ted Cruz, who's been on the rise of late, follows close behind The Donald at 23 percent, double his support from four weeks ago, the Q-Poll released Wednesday shows. Dr. Ben Carson has 18 percent, with Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida at 13 percent.

Two most recent polls(last 2 weeks) by PPP and FOX have Trump beating Hillary NATIONALLY by 5 points (Fox) and losing by 1 point (PPP) and this is within the MOE.

This is after the 7/24 beating of the media on Trump. Clinton of necessity has been kept quiet because she sees her numbers slip every time she spends time in the public eye.

What part of Trump still being a liberal does nobody get?

Must be reality TV worship or something.

I see straight through that clown.

Only polls worth looking at are the most recent ones which show a sharp trend toward Trump and him leading by 5 in one of them.. This coincides with the terrorist attacks. What good are polls taken in October before any of this happened?

Yeah well Walkers not been running for a while, you make some assumptions there kid. I’ve taken a break off Free Republic, because of the Trump worship that’s going on.

Before Trump started running I was thinking Trump would run as a Democrat.

Bill Clinton, best president of the last 4 - Trump
Hillary Clinton - Respectable - Trump
Hillary Clinton - does a great job as Sec of State- Trump

Trumps current behavior and the dismissive manner in which his following forgives it is silly. He’s a parody of what liberals think conservatives are, despite Liberals themselves being that way.

Because he’s a liberal, playing a roll, for Hillary Clinton’s benefit.

Cruz isn’t for amnesty.

But I won’t bother explaining it, because you have assumptions.

Back your liberal plant. HRC will be in the White House and we’ll get the 3rd term of Obama or worse.

Yeah. You have assumptions. Your first quote doesn’t say he does.

Nor does your second mention.

I’ll leave this here.

Hopefully you’ll wise up and realize that having Hillary Clinton, Trumps good buddy, as President, because you’re falling for a scam.

“What part of Trump still being a liberal does nobody get”

Don’tcha know? All those previous liberal stances and statements by Trump were just acts of “good business,” needed for success in NY.

I don’t give a sh*t about the “deep meaning” of Conservative or Liberal. No one is perfect.

Trump, I am convinced loves America and despises as much as I do terrorism and terrorists. I also believe he is FOR law and order despite what his beliefs about this that and the other thing are at the micro level of scrutiny he is at currently.

He speaks his mind and is unafraid of the PC morons. No matter how you slice it and whatever label you want to hang on him Trump is light years better than ANY democrat.

That said i would be equally happy with Cruz and would not at all rule out Rubio or even Christie both of whom are also better than any Democrat.

Bottom line? Whomever is the nominee will get my vote because to sit home is suicide and the act of a true fool who cannot see past the end of his ideological nose.

Calling Bill Clinton a respectable president is a stretch, even with the low bar the competition has set.

You do realise the only reason he didn’t do more damage than he did was the Republican takeover of Congress, right?

Hillary! competent as SOS?
You sure you aren’t the stealth dem?
Just asking because calling the Hildabeast competent at anything except extortion and accumulating frequent flyer miles makes me think you may have been asleep for awhile.

I support Ted Cruz.
If Ted doesn’t get the nomination I will support Trump.
He is loud, crass and ill mannered at times, but anyone else on the list is a dead giveaway to the open borders, illegal invaders, cheap labor express.

I have looked at Trump enough to see he is the second best candidate running.
Sure he has given money to democrats. As he explained, it’s all part of doing business.
You want something done you buy a politician. That’s how business works in New York City and State.
And all other dem strongholds as well.
I have seen how union thuggery works and the political thuggery is the same, just costs more.

Hold on... Did you wonder how these poll results seem to be manipulated?

I was finally able to get an actual copy of the questions put to voters by Quinnipiac!

“In this upcoming caucus who would you vote for among these Republican candidates:

1. The experienced, proven, common sense former Governor of Florida, the Honorable Jeb Ellis Bush
2. The articulate, incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable young hispanic Senator from Florida, Marco Rubio
3. The dynamic, hard charging successful Governor of Ohio, John Kasich
4. The psychopathic mother beating manic depressive doctor Ben Carson
5. The fundamentalist religious freak from the hard right side of the Senate, the Canadian-Cuban Ted Cruz
6. The racist, insensitive, facist, fake Republican, bully of a billionaire Donald Trump (who, by the way actually hates women, especially fat women)

Iowa: Trump 25%, Cruz 23%. YES! I’ve been saying for months that Cruz will be the “Surprise” Candidate in Iowa on Feb. 1. Cruz is brilliant. While others fight for the spotlight, he’s been the stealth candidate flying under the radar, building a winning ground game and by early January, he hits his stride. CRUZ WINS IOWA!

Most Cruz supporters are NOT anti-Trump; we’re Pro-Cruz. I, for one, will be all in for Trump if he’s the nominee.

That video from 2009 where Trump praised the Clintons to the high heavens, even saying Bill was a great President and Hillary is very smart and very capable and “I like her”...... The DemocRATS will play that as a campaign ad a gazillion times in 2016. And, nobody gives a rat’s ass that he said it in 2009. He said it and that’s all the ‘Rats care about. I’ll work fearlessly for Trump if he runs against the b**ch, but, I’m afraid that THAT VIDEO WILL PUT HILLARY IN THE WHITE HOUSE!
