Even if Trump were polling at 40%, that leaves 60% to go to an opponent for the nomination.

I got an ad from the RNC on my Facebook feed today that wanted me to vote for my top 3 candidates in the republican field. They had all the candidates listed in 3 columns. The first candidate, on the top of the list on the far left (the first one your eyes go to) was none other than Jeb Bush. The very last candidate, on the bottom far right, was Donald Trump. Coincidence? Wonder if anyone else saw this today.

If Cruz were the nominee and Trump ran Independent, then we would know it is all about Trump’s ego. Trump’s positions mirrored Cruz’s from the day he announced.

Trump keeps saying he might run 3rd party. There has been video posted today of him saying it.

There is no doubt that the RNC does not want Donald to be their nominee. They are indeed the Stupid Party, and no I doubt it is a coincidence. I didn’t see it because I don’t do Facebook.

Remember they didn’t want Reagan either. They talk about Reagan in fond terms now, but only because they know lots of Americans admired him. But in reality they hated him then, and they hate him still. Donald is the same as far as they are concerned.

Trump UP 8 percent! In Fox News. Probably up more in other polls.

40% is pretty much a lock statistically.

As the other candidates drop out, they’d have to go 80-20 to the No. 2 guy in order to tie Trump. That won’t happen. Other things could change the dynamic, most likely, but if Trump is polling at 40% closer to primary day, he’ll win the state no matter who drops out.

A vote for Rubio or Christie is the same as a vote for Hillary. Both are for amnesty, especially little Rubio. NO MORE RINOS!!!

So you support open borders and amnesty? It’s Cruz, Trump or no one.

If they play games with the delegates.

The way the establishment is attacking Trump now shows they probably won’t support him if he wins the nomination. JMO

68% is from the Republican base. He’ll get a lot of independents and some cross-overs as well.

I agree. It’s a plot with Hillary. That dawned on me over the last couple weeks. I was his biggest advocate, but then I started looking at his comments to the Jewish Republican group & so many other oddities. It’s like he’s running, verbally & stylistically as a liberal’s caricature of a conservative. Seems owfully convenient. He was close to the Clintons, talked with Bill before running & has made comments in the past about how ignorant Republican voters are. I finally had to come out openly about not actively considering Trump anymore. We need to unite behind someone with a conservative track record and someone that is anti-establishment. Isn’t the true conservative choice obvious: TED CRUZ! Let’s use our heads this election! :)
