Perceptions of his favorability, electability, and strategy on key areas have all improved over the past six months. In many of these cases, he has seen dramatic turnarounds with the GOP electorate.

Here's a look at the shifts: Favorability:

In a July CNN poll, just 51% of Republicans viewed Trump favorably, compared with 40% who saw him in an unfavorable light. In December, 72% of registered Republicans say they view Trump favorably. That contrasts with just 27% who view him unfavorably.

Electability:

In August, just 38% of Republicans thought that they would have a "better chance" of winning the presidency in 2016 if Trump was the nominee. Fifty-eight percent said that the party would have a better chance with someone else. In December, 46% of Republicans now see a "better chance" of winning the presidency with Trump as the nominee. That number has climbed to an almost even split with the 50% of GOP voters who think someone else would give them a better chance.

I think he is about to drop out. These high poll numbers are too high for his ego to handle.

Folks if this is not your next president there is going to be a civil war. If not a volient one , one that will split this nation.

Hillary is a nation killer

Per the detestable Jennifer Rubin at WaPo:

“The crowded field is not going to be crowded for very long, and it is Rubio (or New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who is surging in New Hampshire) who stands to gain the most when others drop out. Donald Trump - with 100 percent name recognition and high unfavorables - is about topped out. “

Yep, he was topped out at 10, 12, 15, 20, 30, 35%. But this time, THIS TIME they are SURE!

As soon as Trump is in the positive favorable/unfavorable territory among independent voters, Hillary is in trouble.

The recent PPP poll has Trump 32% Favorable 59% Unfavorable with independents.
I suspect his favorability percentage is a bit higher.

32/59 is disappointing, particularly for someone who is being touted as speaking to the concerns of the average American.

It’s not hard to blow the mind of an idiot. The answer is: people are re-thinking the repeated re-election of idiots whose only achievement in life is graduating college and getting elected to something. But re-elect them to a 400th term, they said they’d do something this time!!

The more you hear Trump the more you like him. He's very fast on his feet and makes no apologies

Trump has many of the skills of an accomplished stand-up comic.

He had a dear friend that may have helped him in these matters.

The article states......”Perceptions of his favor ability, electability, and strategy on key areas have all improved over the past six months.”......

LOLOL.....meaning what?..... That media seeking a great “show” they know Trump can create to feed their ratings and engage the public to ‘tune in for the next episode’ of Trumps new Reality TV ...featuring himself running for President.

The public is tuned in no doubt.....reminds me of “Dallas” featuring the wealthy JR. Ewing who could say the most obscene and derogatory things about and to people but the masses tuned in every week to see what he would do next.

It's been mentioned that Trump said he could say the most obscene things and the public would still support him if he ran for President......he knew then, and now, how to read his audience to give them what the want......that's what he does....that's how he builds his following....and he doesn't even have to "believe" in what he's saying, just convince his audience he's believable.

...."Donald Trump is not a serious candidate"....

Well initially I would have agreed with that....but now that he's "tasted" the flavor of ' power' over the masses and what's in it for him he's going for the gold!

What could he possibly loose? .....This exposure does more for the "Trump Brand" than anything he could have done marketing it and at no marketing costs as the media runs with him for free.... so that's a plus for him win or loose the primary.....he can walk away still a winner as he sees himself now....while all other candidates have soaked their life and wealth into running and laid all the ground work necessary to even run.

It will be interesting, 'if' he wins the primary, will he self-fund his 'Presidential' campaign?....he may find an excuse to do otherwise considering the war chest Hillary will and does have available to her.

Besides this... Hillary would love to go up against Trump....his past will nullify hers.... so the ground the two would stand on would be level.
