Trumpâs unexpected and sustained popularity has, at least in part, been fueled by his appeal to a voting bloc that seems to be emerging: blue-collar workers without college degrees who are slightly younger than the traditional Republican voter. Many say they havenât cared about politics until now, as they flock to Trump rallies like groupies to a rock concert, read his books, buy his products, quote his jokes and follow his social-media accounts.
But is their devotion to Trump deep enough to vote?
For those who donât regularly vote in primaries, doing so for the first time is a hurdle â especially in Iowa, which uses a caucus system that can intimidate first-timers.
In states with early primary contests, Trumpâs staffers are trying to teach their supporters how to vote and get a commitment that they actually will. Before each rally here, Trumpâs state co-chairs walk the crowd through how the caucuses work and urge them to attend. But they are also hoping word will spread through social media and in conversations after church, at the school bus stop, during coffee breaks and over holiday dinners.

If Trump flips key "safe" blue states like NY, NJ, and PA red by truly reaching working-class democrats it won't matter how much corruption and voter fraud occurs in Cook county and a handful of other strongholds--the electoral math will ensure a Trump win.
“Trying every angle they can to cast doubt on Trump.”
I have noticed that. They must cook their brains trying to dream up something new that hasn’t been written before.
I’ll happily vote for Trump as opposed to unhappily as I did for McCain and Romney.

This Trump fan WILL BE VOTING.
President is elected by electoral college, not popular vote.
This may be Trump’s biggest problem.
What's a "plausable" fraud margin?
NO ONE batted an eye last time when some precincts had more votes than residents, and 100% of those votes were for obama.
Our only hope is that conservative precincts withhold their tallies until the last minute and deny the cheaters the ability to know how many votes they need to add until it's too late to manufacture them.
But I don't think we'll see that because of the crossover vote. If Trump is taking 55-60% of the popular vote there simply isn't enough "wiggle room" for the those sort of games in a handful of precincts to make a difference.
From your keyboard to God’s ears!
“Trumpâs going 57 states...”
LOL!
The fact that Cruz surged in Iowa, was stealing it away, was unstoppable - and is now tied with Trump - shows the strength of Trump’s supporters.
“So what you, and all the others saying the same thing, are claiming is that Trump is going to win Iowa handily because of the size of his crowds, right?”
I didn’t say that at all - quit the straw man argument. I never even mentioned Iowa.
The story and the premise was that all those people might go to his rallies but won’t leave their houses to vote.
I didn’t get to see him in Knoxville :(
Hubby had to study - and sleep - to take a home inspector’s test the next day. I have not only vision issues at night but tendonitis in my arms and wrists, so that drive would’ve been a problem for me.
But I did get a promise that if he cones within 5 hours of here again, we are going!
I KNOW you are Trump’s biggest fan though, Harley Lady! And not in a creepy Kathy Bates way either, LOL!
My son in law said he would drive me, if he came closer than 9 hours away...lol....so I still have hope!!!
Thank you for the compliment....FRiend....
Blue-collar workers without college degrees have way more common sense than out of work no-collar college graduates. Blue-collar workers have jobs and are tired of paying welfare for out of work no-collar college graduates.
Trump speaks for all Americans, except snobbish elite types.
Or so Jebby claims
Doesn’t matter...If Iowa doesn’t go the way of the National trend, their vote is meaningless...We KNOW where Trump is at in the polls...And Trump is going nowhere but up...
“Trump’s fans are excited to rally â but they’re not sure they’ll show up to vote”
This makes total sense, because, after all, it’s SO much more difficult to vote than to attend a rally, ESPECIALLY more mail-int balloting.
