YIKES!! Those are some serious wind gusts they’re predicting! Hope they die down before you have to leave for work in the morning. NOT fun to drive in!

Nope, not good at all. We’ve lost a few kitties to those vile creatures over the years. That’s why they’re all inside at night now.

I canNOT believe that our temps are lower than yours and that we had 6 inches of snow a lot of which is still on the ground!
Of course, it’ll nearly all be gone by tomorrow...but still! This is Texas...that is Alaska! LOL!

You Should Stay Home for New Year's Eve |
By the time New Year's Eve comes around, you are usually exhausted and tend to fall asleep at your computer. That doesn't mean you won't celebrate, but you'll definitely be toasting the new year in each time zone from the east coast to Hawaii.
You'll reflect on the year that's passed and make plans for one day at a time. And when the clock turns over at midnight, you'll be cheering along with anyone else. You'll just be in your pj's! |

It says I should party NYE, but instead my band will be onstage, providing the music for the party! Any FReepers in the Boise area, come on out to the 127 Club in Meridian, and introduce yourself...I'll be the bear thumping on the bass.

I can't believe it either. I don't know where the wind storm is coming from either.
* Wind... southeast 70 to 90 mph with gusts to 100 mph for Turnagain Arm and higher elevations. East wind 50 to 70 mph for east Anchorage and the lower hillside.

Your web cams should be DARK! Not a flake of snow left in the yards. IT IS DARK OUTSIDE!!
The only “good” thing is that the wind has dried up all the melting/melted snow...no ice on the main roads.

The cams ARE dark. Looks weird after seeing things fairly bright at night lately.
No ice on the roads is good but those winds sound rough. They weren’t that strong here yesterday and I was almost thrown to the ground when I stepped outside. Didn’t step back out there the rest of the day. LOL!
Just be careful if you have to go out in that stuff.
