Of these, some 400,000 from Greece, Spain, Portugal and Italy are employed taxpayers in Germany. Many more are freelancers, students or self-employed workers.

If you go back to 2014, there were probably 50,000 Greeks who legally came into Germany for employment....a lot were young university graduates who gave up on any future in Greece. German companies eagerly picked up these professionals and they are now permanently part of the German society. With all the negative trends....I’d make a bet that the Greek entry into Germany still continues today.
We are witnessing those young ones grown up and implementing what they have learned.
With the availability of educated but seeking jobs from European countries with high unemployment rates, why in heaven’s name would Germany’s elites seek out immigrants from non-European, non-Christian, Muzzie countries with no similar cultural mores? They (in particular Merkel) are nuts and it will be Germany’s downfall unless it stops its suicidal tendencies immediately, if not sooner.

I think there were two factors playing into this. Most people see the 1.1 million immigrants for 2015 and just think it’s one region. It’s a mixture of Syrian/Iraqis (maybe around 40-percent), North Africans and central Africans (30-percent) and the rest from southeast Europe and ‘other’.
First, few realize this but Assad over the past two or three decades actually put money into education. So from all the Middle Eastern countries....Syria had more education and technical training than anyone else. No one in Germany gives statistics, but I’d take a guess that more than 50-percent of the Syrian crowd had a background profession (baker, engineer, cook, mechanic) which involved some training and education. This ease of getting them hired would be simple. I won’t say that for the north African crowd who has zero profession and most Germans tend to think their only background is robbery and illegal drug sales.
The second issue is low-income jobs. Germany has a ton of these jobs which Germans now refuse to sign up for or apply to. So, cheap new labor might make some sense.
The overall problem is that jobs aren’t invented out of thin air, and this fake storyline by the state-run TV news people in Germany makes it sound like tens of thousands of jobs will be invented each quarter as these people transit the language and integration classes. By mid-summer of 2016...reality will begin to hit as gov’t run job-centers have to invent some type of fake job or fake school environment....to hide the mounting numbers of immigrants who aren’t hired.
The next national election in Germany is November of 2017. But we have several state elections coming up (3 in March and 2 in the fall of 2016)....which will attract frustrated Germans to vote in a radically different pattern.
Living in Sicily, I can see that the young here pretty much have to leave if they want opportunities. That usually means Northern Italy, Germany, or the UK. If you get an education here - law, engineering, business - there just isn’t much here for you. And many of the lower level jobs are taken by Eastern European or North African or even South American ( lots of Colombians here) immigrants.
Spaniards are drawn to Germany as well; the Spanish government has publicly encouraged any that can work in Germany to do so. Germany wants them as long as they speak German and have a skill.
My guess is that the recent trafficking of Muslims was done because Germany needs burger flippers; I don’t see southern Europeans leaving friends & family behind to earn what they’d get from the dole in their own countries anyway. BTW, I think that is why we keep our southern border open; in the NYC metro area unskilled Americans won’t work as burger flippers.
There’s a great breakfast cafe that existed in the 1980s in Arlington, VA. When I got ready to move there in 2010...some guy had advised me to go over and try the place because it was fantastic.
So after I got set up and moved in....I found the place (less than five minutes walking from my apartment). It was the old fashioned breakfast diner that people used to eat in all the time. The shocking thing for me....was that their prices were still in the $7 to $8 range for a breakfast plate....while most in the area were $12 to $15.
But I sat there at the counter and noted that virtually all of the employees were El Salvadorian except for the clerk lady and the manager. All minimum wage people and happy to be working. If you went down the street to the higher priced place...all non-El Salvadorian.
What business operations did over the past decades was keep some pricing at the lower end of the spectrum...by using the migrants.

According to the EU, less than 20% of the migrants who have gone to Germany are Syrians.
It is the 60s hippies that are ruling power today, and their anti-war, anti-white male mentally is clearly evident...eradicate the white-male....
If you use all of the 2015 numbers (released about a week ago)...the Germans will say that it’s upwards to 40-percent. I will add minor issue to this...after August of 2015 when they said that Syrians and Iraqis were the only ones on the 95-percent approval for visas list...the number of fake Syrian passports jumped in a substantial way. Anyone can buy them now.
But the Germans perceived the issue and the fakers get called in and eventually put into a different category, with almost no chance of a permanent visa.
The other little slant to this story...there is a percentage of the Syrians which is Muslim and a percentage which is Christian. The Germans are very careful about mixing the groups in a waiting center, and very careful about talking of the numbers in each group. It’s rarely discussed in any public forum with a gov’t guy.
That’s nothing. Ten or 15 years ago it was estimated 1 in 8-10 in the US was an illegal alien. That ratio must be worse today.
