Word is spreading - Donald Trump supporters are outraged over his treatment by a cabal of self- appointed representatives of conservatism like Glenn Beck and Erick Erickson, among others, who utilized the National Review magazine to declare their opposition to the current GOP frontrunner in what is an unprecedented show of force by media and political establishment figures to attempt to convince voters they are incapable of making their own decision regarding who to cast their vote for.
It might very well prove to the final ingredient in a Trump tsunami once Republican primary voting is underway.

Go read what his classmates said. I do not believe he has changed one bit. You and others are dead wrong about Trump’s political contributions. He has given over 750K to Reps and some 250k to Dems as per the experts THE FEC.
You are using incomplete DATA. Trump has given REPS some 3/4 million and 250K to DEMS. Using half ass sources for facts results in a flawed conclusion.

I think Trump acted quite rationally, when he gave to McConnell. Only twice in the last 40 years have Senate re-election rates dropped below 90 % in only two cycles (1970 & 2010) from 1964-2014. https://www.opensecrets.org/bigpicture/reelect.php.
Notwithstanding his rhetoric, even Cruz recognized the need to have some friends.

Exactly. Cruz if a man who thinks he knows it all and he has been arguing with people all his life if they do not agree with him. He took hefty donations from the NY gay hoteliers. I wonder what he promised them. He is practically owned by PAC’s
Numbers aside, Trump has supported Dems. The claim of “that’s how business works” is easliy refuted by the Koch example. Trump wasn’t required to support liberals, he chose to.
Was it because he agreed ideologically or because of personal gain expediency? Does it matter?
Why focus on those, why not read those who respond directly to those questions you raise?
The one about donations has been answered directly by Trump himself dozens of times at his rallies and in interviews, and hundreds of times by supporters like myself right here on FR.

I prefer Cruz too, and I worry some over Trumps past support of Liberal’s generally though in his capacity as a billionaire developer he more or less had to be “fair and balanced” on his political contributions.
I worry ZERO about Trumps being as bad as Obama!

Trump CAN fire in the Executive branch. What will Congress do if Trump starts cutting headcount in EPA, Education, VA, HHS, etc., and redirecting spend, or even give it back to states to help employ dismissed government workers? Won't Congress want to be a part of that action? If they want to play, they will have to pay.

Your data that you advocate demonstrates that Trump has a record of opposing his own party 25% of the time. After all, those Democrats he donated to were running against someone - that’s why they were seeking donations.

And you seriously think they will refrain for commercials of Trump pushing little old ladies in wheelchairs off cliffs because he’s The Donald?
Trump will be the villain and the face of every Republican running for re-election. If Trump did what you said, the 43% will be easily convinced he is comng after the next.
Those answers say that Trump opposes his own party and supports the Democrat instead roughly 25% based on the numbers I accept from Trump supporters themselves.
I still have not heard a good reason for doing that. The excuse about big successful companies have to play the game is easily refuted. The Koch brothers are a well known example.
And other candidate that had financially supported Democrats 25% of the time would be called a RINO by Trump supporters themselves I bet. Why the pass for Trump?
Right now I want a man who owes nothing to PAC’s and the K street lobbyists, etc. I could care less about the Koch Bros. I am tired of hearing how Rep candidates if we vote for them will stand up to Obama. From 2012 and again last year we gave them majorities. They have done zip. Obama should have been impeached by now and Hillary should be in jail. I don’t worry about what you said about his Dem support as I know many who were upset with Bush for invading Iraq. Sadly, we all know someone who voted for Obama and wished he/she did not. Hell try to tell me we are better off now or Iraq is safer? I worry about Cruz as this is what his classmates said at Princeton. The ones at Harvard had more problems. What bothers me is the “know it all” comment as I see that in Cruz. I agree with the guy who said Cruz has nothing to learn in Washington. He damn sure does.
I didn't say that Trump would explicitly campaign on those details, although he's already said that he wants to push education back to the states and deal with the Veterans Affairs issues. I said he would do it once in office under the purview of executive authority.
