These really are not debates anyways. They are an occupation media cash cow and method to write the political narrative. Let them go the way of the horse and buggy.

And newspapers.

of course Ted is agreeable. The only time he has a big audience is when Trump is present.

Nothing to do with Kelly. Watch his presser. I wish Cruz would drop out also. Leave the RINOS to suck up to media.

I think it more fun, and useful, to see things as they are and not as I wish.
Of course I know how partisans wish to see this, without reading their posts.

Dying to know who wrote that FOX statement.

George Will?

A person who will be a footnote that got Trump elected

Even if he loses Iowa, he will have taken a principled stand for journalistic fairness and objectivity. The American people will remember.

Good point.

And I think Trump will win Iowa.

Amazing to see how people view this. Some here have compared his move to the bravery of Patton.

LOL!

Reminds me of the early Obama years where logic was ignored.

He did it because Ailes sent this out:

the network poked fun at Trump in a satirical statement: “We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president. A nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.”

The bottom line is he said to Ailes you think you can treat me that way and make $100 million dollars off me tomorrow night too ? No chance.

It’s amazing how these folks fell into the Leftist ranks, as you say, telling us we were.

“It was a double-dog dare to Trump to skip their debate. hehe “

And it has a double purpose. Trump has once again changed the political subject to not showing up at the debate rather than the hammering he has been taking by certain conservative talk radio hosts (namely Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh in particular) over his allegedly going “establishment”) over remarks Trump made about Cruz that they are deliberately misconstruing.

So, not going to the debate serves two purposes, saying stuff it to Fox and saying stuff it to the unfair treatment he has been receiving by certain talk radio hosts. Good for Trump. Bravo to the only candidate that truly has a spine and is willing to take on his enemies, both temporary and permanent.

I do not think this a good idea.
One of the best moments in all of the Debates was when Cruz called out the CNBC moderators at that debate. Trump is missing the opportunity to do the same.
My take is that after he went on Morning Joe and said how much he likes Pelosi, Reid, and Schumer, he knew he would be blasted, and not by the moderators, but by the candidates.
This wasn’t something he said years ago, he said this today.
Every candidate gets thrashed by the media in one form or fashion. I don’t this Twitter nonsense. Trump has made some pretty out there tweets himself. I am not defending the practice, of Fox, butit seems childish when anyone does this.
Face it,folks.
Trump is taking cover, and adding helping vets to complete the smokescreen.
Trump is hiding.

I don't know too many Conservatives who side with Leftist talking heads being biased against one of our candidates. Except on this forum.

They're slinging sh*t and slandering Palin, Sheriff Joe, Jerry Falwell, John Wayne's daughter and literally tens of millions of Americans.

Makes ya wonder what hole did these people crawl out of.

"Sure, Donald will accept Cruz's challenge to a one-on-one debate."NOT!

Why would Trump debate someone not eligible to run for President at all. (;>)
