Mark Levin Lashes Out at Donald Trump: 'Might as Well Vote for Jeb Bush'
The Blaze ^ | January 25, 2016 | Fred Lucas

Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said that Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was similar to an establishment Republican compromiser after the real estate mogul pledged earlier to work closely with Democratic leaders in Congress.

"You might as well vote for Jeb Bush," Levin said. "I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great."

In an interview Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Trump said, "I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem. Reid will be gone." He added, "I was always very good with Schumer. I was close to Schumer in many ways. It's important that you get along."

While speaking well of House Minority Leader Pelosi of California, the likely next Democratic Senate Leader Schumer of New York and retiring Senate Democratic leader Reid of Nevada, Trump called his Republican primary opponent Texas Sen. Ted Cruz "nasty."

"He just talks up Reid. He just talks up Pelosi. He just talks up Schumer and he trashes the hell out of the most conservative member of the United States Senate," Levin said.

"It's not a matter of getting along with people and cutting deals," Levin said. "It's a matter of moving the country, persuading the country, persuading the Republican party to follow you," Levin continued. "That's what a statesman does. That's what Churchill did. That's what Thatcher did. That's what Reagan did. That's what you have to do, or you might as well vote for Jeb Bush. I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great. For some people this is perfectly fine. I'm troubled by it."

“COW states are alike to me.”

Ha. Your son might want to hear what Bryan Suits has to say about what’s going on there. He’s from the area and he’s been saying that the family involved doesn’t want the activists exploiting their issue. It sounds to me like the family accepts the fact that their hands weren’t clean in setting the fire that got them into trouble. It’s probably not the clear cut issue that some would have it. And if it was they would have been much wiser to use civil disobedience without bringing guns into it, that just played into the hands of their enemies.

“This piece by the Conservative Treehouse echoes your well thought out points”

thanks. i saw and read that too and noted the similarities. Of course, sundance is a far better writer than i’ll ever be and apparently has way more time and patience to research and polish as well.

“Why do Cruz’s past strikes count and Trump’s not?”

The immigration stances you assign to Trump were all held by Cruz up until very lately, and are on video. Ethanol subsidies will not destroy our way of life. Cruz says he will not fight gay marriage as president (hand it off to the states, which is a laugh). Trump said he supported Planned Parenthood to the extent the good they were supposed to be doing at the time. He, like most of us, had no idea what Planned Parenthood was engaged in.

Trump’s boldness on immigration is key. Without him, immigration would still be turned loose on the nation for purposes of complete transformation, by both Republicans and Democrats. All your find points of longing for pure conservatism, which I would agree with, will be moot in about ten years if it is not stopped.

So you are asserting that Cruz has changed his positions and beliefs as much as Trump?

She didn't say anything that we didn't already know.
Why do you subjugate yourself to that site?

Well, the videos are out there, and he did vote for the Obama agenda, did he not?

That didn’t answer the question. Do you think that Ted Cruz has changed his principles and beliefs to the same or greater extent than Donald Trump?

Levin has become completely unhinged—and unlistenable.

That’s right! I said it!!

He used to make fun of ‘Countdown to No Ratings’ Keith Olbermann. I would guess that Levin’s ratings can’t be doing well.

None of the Trumpeteers will answer that question. They ignore what he was before. All that matters is that he will build a wall and will insult everybody. They are nothing but Trump-bots; they’re on automatic pilot for him.

They love the fact that is he is not politically correct (so do I), but they won’t even consider the possibility that he isn’t an authentic conservative. Therefore, Trump gets a pass for the mere fact that he talks tough and is right of Hillary Clinton.
