Mark Levin Lashes Out at Donald Trump: 'Might as Well Vote for Jeb Bush'
The Blaze ^ | January 25, 2016 | Fred Lucas

Posted on 01/26/2016 10:56:21 PM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said that Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was similar to an establishment Republican compromiser after the real estate mogul pledged earlier to work closely with Democratic leaders in Congress.

"You might as well vote for Jeb Bush," Levin said. "I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great."

In an interview Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Trump said, "I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem. Reid will be gone." He added, "I was always very good with Schumer. I was close to Schumer in many ways. It's important that you get along."

While speaking well of House Minority Leader Pelosi of California, the likely next Democratic Senate Leader Schumer of New York and retiring Senate Democratic leader Reid of Nevada, Trump called his Republican primary opponent Texas Sen. Ted Cruz "nasty."

"He just talks up Reid. He just talks up Pelosi. He just talks up Schumer and he trashes the hell out of the most conservative member of the United States Senate," Levin said.

"It's not a matter of getting along with people and cutting deals," Levin said. "It's a matter of moving the country, persuading the country, persuading the Republican party to follow you," Levin continued. "That's what a statesman does. That's what Churchill did. That's what Thatcher did. That's what Reagan did. That's what you have to do, or you might as well vote for Jeb Bush. I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great. For some people this is perfectly fine. I'm troubled by it."

Reagan must be the worst President the GOP had

He was President for 8 Years and had a Democratic House and had pass a lot of bills rebuilt the Military and lowered taxes.

Damn in my Civics class you needed a Democratic House and 60 votes for Reagan to pass laws.

I wonder if Mark was there watching Reagan?

Poor Mark. Completely off the deep end.

Why don't you just respond to his comments rather than dismissing anyone who doesn't trust Donald "THE ONE" Trump. Doesn't it bother you that Trump is buddy buddy with all the people who have worked so hard to "Fundamentally Transform the United States of America"? This same person who has been buddy buddy with those people is now THE ONLY ONE who can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

In Reality, Trump has contributed to the decline of America just as much as his buddies in Congress.

No other candidate in this election has ever donated even a dime to Pelosi or Schumer or Reid or Clinton. Yet Mark Levin has gone "Completely off the deep end" because he is willing to point that out?

Ted Cruz's Trolling of Donald Trump's Decision to Skip Fox News Debate is Ninja Level

"Wow. Ted Cruz has responded to Donald Trump's decision to skip the Fox News Debate this Thursday in the most epic way possible. He went on the Mark Levin radio show, where a lot of Trump's supporters live, and in one statement a) called Trump a coward, b) challenged him to a one-on-one debate, with c) Mark Levin moderating..................."

Trump will get along with them - on HIS terms.

If he goes all the way I hope you are right, but I expect to be disappointed. Trump overstates things in a bombastic style, but what if he is simply yelling for 100’ of rope when all he wants or expects is 50? It’s a common negotiation strategy found in his own book. The crowds cheer the 100’ promises, but what if they end up feeling like they are 50’ short?

On top of that what are the odds that congress (both sides) simply cave to everything he demands? D.C. does not work that way because our government no longer sets priorities - everyone gets most of what they want and we continue to explode our debt because nobody wants to set priorities or make hard decisions. You can’t do much without congress or you do the same thing people criticize Obama for.

I expect we are going to find out.... hope I am wrong.

Dec 20, 2015:

Jeff Sessions: Without Ted Cruz, Amnesty Would Have Passed In 2013 w/ video

Sen. Jeff Sessions gave a full-throated defense of Sen. Ted Cruz at an event Friday in Daphne, Alabama. Cruz is facing attacks from Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and others over technical issues regarding amendments to a 2013 immigation reform bill which never passed.

"People need to remember this, because this election is going to decide, the crowd who pushed that bill," Sessions said. "Will they be in the White House, and allowed to push their agenda, or will we have somebody else?"......

That is what most of the “real conservatives” NR crowd do not understand. Trump will actually stand up to the Dems and Rinos and negotiate on his terms. He will not cave the first time they say no.

I see no one is allowed to have relatives that are part of any political campaign.

What you don’t see is that Levin could and should have disclosed that fact weeks/months ago but didn’t. He is very biased—which is is right on his show, but he parades around acting like he is objective and he clearly has not been for weeks.

Eh, really doesn’t matter to me as I quit listening to him a few weeks ago due to his bias.

“You might as well vote for Jeb Bush,” Levin said. “I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great.”

There is a Yuge difference between “getting along” and “being rolled.” Unfortunately, both Levin and the GOPe don’t know the difference! “Getting along” in Trump parlance is “smiling while you twist the knife” (or the testicles, your option).

I said a while back that the minute Trump feels assured of a primary win he will start conniving to prevent a 3rd party run by a RINO.

Part of the conniving is to make the GOPee feel at ease that he will “Go along to get along” so they don’t use a 3rd party RINO to deny him an electoral victory and throw the election to the house.

It seems he feels the nomination is now his and has moved on to the conniving stage..lol

The man’s negotiating a mine field... he has enemies at every turn. Will take all the wheelin ‘n deelin he can muster to make this deal.

The GOPee would use every dirty trick to prevent a conservative presidential win.... you know it’s true.
Gotta keep those illegals flowing in unhindered.

Trump is playing them..IMO.

Tip O'Neil was a blue dog Democrat? Ronald Wilson Reagan sang his praises

Tip O'Neill loved America. Tip O'Neil would be considered a right wing extremist when compared to the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer.

I also doubt that Ronald Reagan gave any of his millions of dollars to the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer or Hillary Clinton.

You are talking about an era when the democrats were "liberal" and not communist. When Democrats were patriots and not traitors.

Why don't you just respond to his comments

Levin takes Trump's quotes out of proportion even though the context was he would be a guy to get results through Congress. Levin is lying to his audience making it sound like Trump is intending on giving up without a fight.

Levin has been unhinged for awhile and has not been forthcoming about his ties to the Cruz campaign, either through his son-in-law who works for Cruz or his involvement in Conservative Review. Just look at what "Conservative Review" has been publishing for weeks, and we also realize that Levin's alleged turn from Trump over Cruz's NBC status is also a lie. Levin's been working to undermine Trump for some time and won't be honest about it to his audience.
