It does not seem that Murdoch has involved himself in this situation yet, but should be be forced to step in and take over it could mean trouble for Ailes according to Sherman.

'The CEO earned Murdoch's trust because Fox generates $1 billion in profit, but also because he was always in control. But in recent months Murdoch has been attending news meetings at Fox in the wake of a health scare that forced Ailes to take an extended leave of absence,' writes Sherman.

'Succession planning at Fox is very much on Murdoch's agenda. If Ailes loses his grip on the Trump situation - and right now it looks like he is - Murdoch will have another reason to worry about the stability of his most valuable asset.'

It’s simple, Fox. Apologize and sideline that bitch Megyn.

Even if Kelly is pulled off the debate, I dont think Trump should go.

She will just give her gotcha questions to another moderator for them to ask to Trump.

Perhaps a deal can be reached. Michael Moore to replace Kelly Megan?

Question:

How is ABC News responding and how will it affect the scheduled ABC Feb 6th NH debate?

Does ABC News have legal recourse against Fox if their debate is canceled or has lost revenue due to the actions of Fox?

fox contacting the wives....How stupid can fox be?

IIRC, the sponsors contract stipulated that Trump be there.

I'm betting the debate will be cancelled.

RE:”Joe Scarborough revealed on Morning Joe (MSNBC) Wednesday morning that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes had been trying to contact both Ivanka and Melania Trump hoping they could convince Trump to change his mind.”

MSNBC the only channel we can trust. apparently.

Joe also went off on how FNC is blundering by not kissing Trump's behind like he and Mika do on their MSNBC show.

Trump is a regular on that MSNBC show and Mika swooned yesterday when Trump said on her show that he has a great relationship with Pelosi.

Exactly what she is looking for.

Trump reveres his family, even his worst detractors can’t deny that. How is it playing if Fox News really did call his wife and daughter to get them to change his mind?

Look at them scramble, LOL. Good. Fox News is a tool of GOPe hacks. They’ve long abused their viewership by subtlety pandering to the cheap labor express with most of their “opinion” shows, and now seeing Megyn Kelly fist bumping with Michael friggin’ Moore is just more confirmation that I was right to turn that station off years ago and never look back. Good riddance to bad garbage.

Faux is re-writing Trump attack scripts to Cruz attack scripts.
Other candidates are looking for their long knives to viciously attack
Cruz. The after debate talking heads are re-writing their scripts too.
And finally Frank Luntz is having to adjust their pre-determined
outcome.

I don’t see how Faux re-writes all their scripts in 2 days.

Donald Trump feud causes panicking Fox News CEO Roger Ailes to call Ivanka and Melania

Without Trump, they got nothing. Very few people will bother to watch a debate without one of the front runners participating.

They should have realized what a financial loss it would cause before they allowed one of their anchors to throw snark in his direction.

Trump knows how to play this game, and he's pretty good at it. I won't say Fox gives in, but I say they will certainly give him more respect in the future, especially if he wins Iowa.
