Actually, it really is a rebellion

As much as I love Cruz as a conservative, there really is a voter rebellion underway and it may be unstoppable. Despite all the denials, the simple truth is the voters really are fed-up and really are up in arms against the establishment.

Trump's message is exactly what the voters are looking for:

Build the wall, enforce the law, deport them all, slap a moratorium on Muslim immigration, bomb the hell out of ISIS, cut the taxes, cut the spending, cut the regulations, cut the government, cut the bad trade deals, cut the political correctness crap, bring back capital, bring back manufacturing, bring back jobs, get the economy back on track, rebuild the military so no one messes with us and make America great again!

It's a winning message.

The rallies are real.

The pent up anger is real.

The rebellion is real!

GOPe RINOs Bush, Rubio, Kasich, et al, stand no chance whatsoever.

We still have hope for conservative Cruz to pull it out, but this is Trump's Rebellion to lose.

Go, Cruz, GO!!

Go, Trump, GO!!

Either way, we win, they lose.

“And the media hates conservatism so they push Trump”

No offense, but you are really insane.

I still wonder what the catalyst was that sent Trump over the edge to make this run. Like everyone else, I initially thought he was just in it for the publicity, but I certainly don’t think that any more. He got a bee in his bonnet about something with regard to the direction of the country, and he is working hard and working smart to get the nomination and change that direction.

In that way, I am reminded of Reagan (no hear me out). As head of the actor’s union, Reagan saw the light on communism and it’s real and present threat to the country. This fixation on destroying the communists push Reagan all the way to the Whitehouse and led to one of the most genuine and successful presidencies the world has ever seen. Something is driving Trump in a similar fashion.

The war is not over yet, the GOPe organized most of the early ones as proportional delegates with the exception of SC.

Florida on March 15th (Jeb’s home-winner take all delegate format) is their backstop leading into winner take alls in the less conservative states.

And in 4 years, the conservative movement could try again.

If it isn't Trump or Trump/Cruz this time around there isn't going to be a next time for the conservative movement. Illegal immigration and Amnesty are the reason why if we don't win it is over. The Dems will run the cards until a revolution occurs. I will vote for Cruz if he is the nominee but I doubt he can win the general. The prime reason why is Independents. Cruz has no ability to pull large amounts of Independent voters, and that was made abundantly clear in NH.

Trump’s catalyst was the future of his children and grandchildren. He saw that American could not continue to sustain the debt and poor decisions much longer. He has been saying it since the late 80s. He had hoped that someone else would correct the ship, but they failed. So he took it upon himself to do it.

You can look it up on youtube. Trump interview with Oprah.

The Message is resonating... The Messenger, Trump, isn't saying it out of principles though. We saw what happens with this from Ventura and Schwartzennegger...

Cruz is still my guy. If Trump wins, I'll hold my nose. Just like everyone else will that knows we cannot let Bernie utterly destroy us...

But at least Jeb doesn't pretend to be a conservative.

GHW, GW, and Jeb are all conservatives. Just ask them and they will tell you.

++++

Here is something I wrote a while back and post from time to time.

++

As someone about Trump’s age, I find it easy to believe his explanation as to why he’s running.

I’ve agonized over the America we are leaving for my own children and grandchildren to live in and raise their families in. Most Freepers here probably feel the same way.

America hardly resembles the one I grew up in. It’s but a shadow of its former self, with freedoms, successes, with respect from our friends, and fear of us by our enemies, all but non-existent.

Trump said he was running so that his family wouldn’t look at him, knowing he could have fixed it, but didn’t.

His own story of building the Trump Organization shows that he knows how to build great empires. Now he wants to make all of America great again.

I think we are but the lucky side beneficiaries.

And I believe him.

The Evangelical voters who stayed home during the 2012 election did so because they claimed they couldn't vote for a Mormon. Not a very wise move given the outcome.

Nevertheless, whatever else Trump might be, he does profess to be a mainstream Christian. He is a Presbyterian.

I agree with you on the influx of illegals who have been dubbed "undocumented Democrats."

I am a conservative and I have resolved to vote for any Republican who gets the nomination - as opposed to a self -professed socialist in "Democrat" drag on the one hand - or a "corruptocrat" who is so crooked that when she dies they are going to have to screw her into the ground!

When all is said and done, I will have seen my duty and will have done it.

Great points Jim. This is a rebellion and it's part of the War for our Sacred Republic. ". . all enemies, foreign and domestic, . " means more now than it ever has.

Fight America, Fight!

I still don’t think Trump is the real deal. I think he is all talk and will not set out to do anything he says. I think he is using the angry voters and playing on their anger to boost himself. But I think he will govern as a NY Liberal.

If he is elected, I think we are all in for a bad time.

I hope I am wrong.
