What Trump is saying is that his proposals would drive down health insurance costs so that most people could afford insurance, and then the truly indigent get picked up by the gov’t.

There is NO plan that can work in the present economy: Unspoken but connected is the idea that a truly healthy economy and employment situation would result in a lot more people able to pay for their own insurance.

If you have a better plan, let’s hear it.

Oh, good grief. You’re flipped out because Trump was interviewed in Playboy 26 years ago and gets a wisecrack on the cover? You actually think that was a serious offer, or taken as such?

Cruz is good on many issues, but, he just doesn’t have traction this time around. (Also, I have a huge problem with him regarding work visas.) Well, Reagan didn’t do very well in 1968, either...

Does the GOPe need to be destroyed, A.S.A.P., or not? For me, this is not a matter of anger, my “yes” is simply a matter of a sad realization that the party I’ve supported for nearly 50 years is allowing, and in some cases participating in the destruction of our country. By a small margin, it presently appears Trump has the best shot at knocking the GOPe on its behind. Cruz is #2, but going nowhere, and would be beholden to the big donors. After Cruz, only Rubio has any traction at all, at present, and long term, he’d probably do more damage than good. (Rubio is still better than Hillary or Bernie, though, and since electing any of those 3 won’t wreck the GOPe, if Rubio is nominated, I’d very reluctantly vote for him.)

I’m socially pretty conservative, but if prudishness is more important to you than saving the country...

I am a firm believer in my son being involved in the process. Up until last night Cruz was my strong number two person but he really has made it impossible for me to support him in the race this year. I will however still have my son work for his campaign over the next two weeks as it is a god life lesson on being involved in the process. Ultimately I just hate that Cruz took himself out of being a VP last night ( I know that ship probably sailed weeks ago).

I went to H&R Block one year. They forgot a big deduction and I got scr****.

I found a good local CPA and used him for years. After he passed, and 20 years later, I'm still using his son.

It's a given that anyone diagnosed with breast cancer has already had a breast exam. So again, what services does Planned Parenthood offer to people already diagnosed with breast cancer? Try using your brain this time.

Very clever, that, slipping in the words "already diagnosed", when it is irrelevant to the original point. Maybe you should be a politician.

PP should be given the choice of getting out of the abortion business or giving up public funding. They would survive, though possibly diminished, in the 1st case. I don't think they'd survive the 2nd, tho' I might be wrong about that.

...snotty overbearing attitude and your pathetic belief that you think your better than anyone else here. Now, run along young'n.

The pot calls the kettle black.

That'll really convince those of us not yet firmly in one camp or the other, to lean your way...

You made an incorrect 2nd usage of "your", I might add.

RE: Thanks for your service, we can never repay you.

What service? She spends all day every day posting and commenting on articles on FR. That’s not service, that is fraud, waste and abuse, not to mention punishable under UCMJ.

So that is where Cruzies have gone, insulting our Service people. You need to examine your life when winning an election is more important than supporting our troops.

You are going to lose so deal with it.

Since you are a big Cruz supporter and he was criticizing Trump, please explain his Healthcare plan to replace Obamacare. He somehow forgot to explain his while he was attacking Trump.

I know we will never get an answer.

You are making things up! You have n idea what Trump is going to do. Accusing him of being a dictator is ridiculous.

“You will learn about pain if your boy Trump gets in office and forgets his promises one by one.”

Here’s why that won’t happen. If you try to be open-minded about it, you might even agree.

Trump loves to win. Hates to lose. Maybe it’s because of ego, maybe it’s just because he’s a very rare person who’s driven to succeed at what he does. Need an illustration? Just look at his life. He’s brought up a fine family of kids, amassed 10 BILLION dollars, has the love and admiration of millions of people and his name on more buildings than you can count.

I’m CERTAIN he will at least try to do the things he’s said, because he does not want history to see him as a loser - much less as someone who didn’t try. He might not succeed in building a wall, kicking all of the illegal aliens out, un-doing all of the damage that Obama has done, etc. - but I’m convinced he’s going to give it his all.

Cruz: Marco and I would both make a much better candidate and a much better president than Donald.

On CNN this morning, they said before the debate Marco and Ted were seen talking together and shaking hands. I think it's pretty clear they cut a deal. What scum!!

“I’ve never listened to his program. I wonder why he stays with CNN “

for the same reason that for years he was the housebroken pet “conservative” at PBS in LA.

But I think his CNN gig may just be for the debates.

Those who support the lesser of two evils are still complicit in evil. Yep and please explain how, via inaction, allowing Hillary "Cult of Margret Sanger and Abortion" elected President is "lesser evil" then electing a President who talks to Conservative like Sean Hannity regularly?

Allowing 100% of evil to be elected via your inaction because your "perfect"candidate did not win the primary is not an morally justifiable position.
